Thread: My CU Stim D -1220 power
Well, using pre CU subcomponents I made 1263/36 Pet Stim D's. ![]()
But using subcomponents made with the same resources today and maxing experimentation on power out then adding the remainder to charges I only got 1199/21 on them. These same resources made 1760/40 Pet Stim D's pre CU.

Sorta makes it hard to justify fishing anymore - a pets regen can heal faster than these things.
It wouldn't be so bad if the new 'healing efficiency' mods applied to pet stims.
Suggest we use the term i-Stim for instant stimpacks and p-stim for pet stims to avoid confusion?

My best stim D's so far are 1218 power / 32 uses. And am I just crazy or can we not use ADVANCED sub-components in any of the lower level stims?
You are not crazy and you cannot use advanced in lower level stims. You also cannot use lower level comps in higher level stims. You are tied to what they want now - lower level or advanced and my friend says it is the same for weaponsmith as well.

I read this again, and I'm thinking this needs to be put on the bug list. Why are 'Pet Stims' coming out at comparable stat values to regular stims? Regular stims had 'healing mods' associated with them that increased their pwoer- pet stims were always higher power for a reason - they took odd resources like fish for one thing, but there was no multiplier stat mod to get more heal out of them.
Healing a 10k Health pet would take forever even with top notch 1800power PetStimDs. Now it'll take twice as long since pets don't seem to regen in combat. ![]()
Pre CU componets should make a huge difference.
With some really good componets, I was able to craft a 1220 power, 30 use stim D
With some less than uber componets, how about 25 use 1000 power?
Based on some 180 power ALS, don't have stats handy for the other two right now.
I'm working on a batch of post CU ALS now, with pre CU ACRDMs and ABECs. For a while I'll use up existing, pre CU stock
Think I'll go right now and build with all new components and see what that gives me.
