You can still make them but don't expect anymore of the exploit ones with 5000 health with resistances and such.

My already tamed one works fine on TC-Chimaera...

As for making uber ones now...I find it unlikely due to the fact we can't even make normal pets as the pet crafting system is currently b0rked really bad.

Ones that have been tamed are usable, but the crafting system is messed up at the moment so don't look for any recipes to work as they should.

And they aren't an exploit.

I'm new so maybe I am missing something, but I make non ch mounts and pets with over 5k ham and 2 specials just by using nightspiders and voritor dashers, I dont do anything funky just drop them in the slot and experiment on physique to no higher than 25%. How is that an exploit?

Tal N is talking about the high HAM high kinetic CL10 animals. He calls it an exploit. The discussion is nearly as old as the profession itself.

Because the devs decided to completely bork the stats of wild animals (1000 fortitude), I made a ba-jillion high HAM high kinetic CL10 animals yesterday and gave them all away for free. I told everyone who received an animal to tame the animal right away. The hope is that these animals still work in live as they do on test. If they don't, nothing lost. At least I had fun crafting animals, something I don't see happening in the new system until wild animal stats are fixed.

Yeah - I gave uber-10's to all my friends who still didn't have them - razor cats or cupas seemed to be the requirements. Delayed our mission to finish Captain what'it's impossilbe phase 3 mission to rescue the commander somewhat but at the end of the night we had 2 mind crystals, 1 jedi crystal, 2 unlocks, 5 uber pets, a +13 pistol accuracy while standing CA and a closer friendship than before b/c we actually got to hear what we sounded like - using teamspeak for the first time after 3 years of playing together. We had a blast.

I have about 8-10 deeds untamed, and about 10 more templates left...We'll see what happens to them

I also have 2 on my main, and 1 on my alt, and pretty much everyone in my guild/city who want one has one, but thats been the case for well before the CURB.

From what I saw on test, the deeds are respec'd when they are tamed. The tamed animals already in your datapad are not. This is why I told the people to make sure they tamed the animals I gave them right away, just in case.

10K health level 10's that were babies in our datapads got converted when they were called out again:

  • adjust stats gave a so-so level 10 with 1750 health and same specials as before but damage in 300's

  • adjust level gave (*I think*) a level 13 with the same health (10K)

4K health level 10s (pre-CU VD recipe) seemed OK when they were called.

Of the 10 "uber" non-creature handler animals I made right before the CURB went live, 2 of them were declared invalid. The remaining 8 work exactly the same as they did prior. Oh, and on a side note, the 0/1 pre-patch blurrgs are still 0/1 pre-patch blurrgs which can be called with any other BE animal.

Chalk up another inconsistant "pet check."

I had someone ask me today if I could make him one of these as he got the invalid pet check on his and selected change level. It went from 0/1 to 222.

I explained that I could not craft these types of pets.

At least he learned to select change stats on his other pets.
