Thread: Goodbye to the BE world for me.
Why quit, I do BE and I know it's just a bug. They will fix it. Goto the live issues thread and report it. Also make a bug report in game. They will get it fixed quickly, I'm sure, just give them some time. Besides, it can give you some extra time to learn the med stuff. And time to collect things you need to make pets and tissues if meds won't be your thing.
Just remember, be polite
I know it is diffucilt right now. All I can say is be patient. It will come.
Everything I sampled on Endor had a fortitude of 1000 making the DNA unusable. A boar wolf was a higher level than an arachne warrior.
Whoever respec'd the wild animals needs to be fired. That person has cost SOE a lot of accounts, mine included. I'll be picking up guild wars this weekend. The rest of my PA is very interested in coming with me as well.
This EQ2 clone is not the game I've been enjoying for the last two years. Without animal crafting there is nothing left for me.
Spazzers, I agree. I personally have 0 faith that any of the BE mess will be fixed. I have been a BE since Oct 03, and quite frankly BE items never get addressed. This is no flame, gripe, or whine, just fact that's all. I have stayed with BE because I loved it, especially the pet making. It was a challenge and a source of satisfaction. I don't mind learning a new system, and I don't mind change, but I truely believe the BE issues will be on a FAR, and I mean VERY FAR back burner. Some expect fixes within weeks, but I would bet months and quite possibly years before the broken BE pets are really fixed. I expect meds will be a priority and tissues seem to be in good shape - at least working shape -now, but the BE pets and DNA collection/storage problemshave never been important to the devs. I don't think BE is a profession that most of the young players choose, and I do think the game is gearing itself towards the young kids who will be in the movie theaters in droves next month and also out of school next month. This game is being marketed towards them, and not towards the older veteran players who choose the more challenging crafting professions. The devs are spread too thin as it is - I don't think the BE profession will get the attention it so desperately needs. I am going to stick around for a bit - I would never give up too soon after this CU, but for once, after 22 months, I can see the doorway out of the game ![]()
