Well I wanted to make a big batch of tensile resistance today, which we all know now requires milk, so I sent my hunter alt out to get some. I figured I'd get in some hunting as well. A very pleasant surprise!

He is level 46, so I went to talus and took humbaba missions. Now in the "old days" humbabas were CL 17 and you'd get, what, maybe 75 milk tops from them, even after the "milk revamp"? But not now! my humbaba mission gave me lairs of level 47 humbabas, and when I milked them I got between 250-300 milk each! And of course I'm still relatively low level. I'd love to see how much milk a level 80 humbaba has in it, lol.

Anyhow, long story short, in a relatively short amount of time, I had 6k of milk.

I have been noticing that for creature harvesting at Master Scout (Grinding up to Ranger 0030) I was getting about 250units of meat and 2500 xp off a level 65ish creature.

It looks like you get scout xp that is roughly 10x the amount harvested, and u seem to harvest a lot more. (I was also grouped with another scout and had a message saying I was receiving a group bonus...but Im not sure I believe it)

This means it may actually be possible to get previously hard to get resources. I just hope I can find a lvl 80 bird around somewhere

I'm just a level 27 CH, but I've been getting 150 milk from mission humbabas on Corellia. Still not as good as the old days of getting 250 from pikets on Dantooine.

I tried that. Knocked off my bike and incapped in one shot by a VD. Recovered, got on the bike -- repeat. Recovered again, one shotand off to the cloner.

The great thing about the CU is that combat is now so mindless. So when I have milked the humbaba and want to kill it, I let my pet tank and use my low-level rifle while standing up at point-blank range. No more of that nonsense about going prone or getting at the right distance. Sometimes for variety, without even novice brawler skills, I use a level-22 melee weapon.

If you get into a group with someone who is lvl 80 you should be able to take a bigger beating. No more 1hit incaps at least

I used to average about 100 units per minute when I'd play milk-maid. In the small tests I've done, it seems that critters move a bit less than they used to. Add to this the ability to get higher level critters and milk shouldn't be in short supply anymore. Will have to test this later.
