Anyone know where these come from? Please no assumptions, I've looked everywhere and can't find them.

At the moment, eggs, milk, and mollusk meat are only findable in extremely low quantities as extremely rare drops from low level NPCs like Plasma Thieves. Once the big patch hits next week, you'll be able to find eggs by searching creature lairs, but milk and mollusk meat will still be impossible to get signifigant quantities of.

And the eggs that can be found in lairs are also of extremely low quantities. Collecting eggs will be faster than DNA Sampling, but not by much. And since eggs, like all other resources, come in various types, putting together a lot of one kind will be very difficult.

You can get milk, mollusk, and eggs off of Mokk tribesman on Dantooine. They are pretty rare drops and they are hard to kill, but thats the only place i have seen them.

i have 30 milk 40 mollusk and 20 crustation and 30 egg.... i would recomend u spend a couple days with out sleep or breaks to find this much.... or i could also sell u some its not cheap but ill break the price down dramatically for larger purchases.... give me a tell in game or e mail me in game im new on this game and dont know how to use this message board im lame...and i dont know how to start an auction the site doesnt make it clear enough to do so...all this acounted for i wont be auctioning em on here so like i said....in game contact...allso i have 90 or so skill mods these are mostly 1 and 2 plus however they are rare and good ones be ones too

Nothing that I know of uses Mollousk or Crustation. Some things use seafood, but fish can be used in that slot. Eggs are very easy to come by. I have about 10 stacks of 1k to work with, just search every lair you motor by on your vehicle. Milk, after the next patch, will be harvestabe by Scouts and Rangers from some Herbivores, read the Chef board for confirmation.

Mollusks are required for one of our higher tissues, the Take Cover one, I think. Crustaceans are a form of seafood and creature food but are not specifically needed in any BE recipe.

Eggs areeasy to find. Search creature lairs. I have found THOUSANDS of eggs on all planets. Sure you only get 2-8 eggs at any one search of a lair. Every time you come upon a critter lair, click on it to bring up a radial menu, wait a few and the option SEARCH LAIR will appear. Sometimes you get nothing, sometimes you get a useless jar of bugs, flies, glowzees, bats etc, but many many times you get eggs.

What is better, is as you do missions to get DNA, search all the lairs on your way out to your waypoint. I bet many will give youjunk or nothing. Do you DNA sampling, finish off you mission and return to town for more missions. Now check those lairs again on your way out (assuming you go the same direction and at least 10-15 minutes have gone by). This time the lair seems more likely to give out eggs.

I remember the days long ago when the devs brought you BEs to your knees after a big patch. You sampling was totally borked as it was 100% aggro time. My BE buddy was just about to give up the ghost and quit. I ran around to maybe two hours on Dantooine searching lairs (any lair, all lairs, checked them 2-3 times each. I had JUST figured this egg finding thing out from the boards). I gave him a stack of 150 Dantooine eggs and around 50 Tatooine eggs. Saved that BE from the brink to be here today playing as a Master BE. Since that day we have been able to get some stacks of eggs up to 500 or 1000 or more. But it takes some time or a good group of friends will to hunt lairs as they go about their business.

Mollusk, Milk and Crustacean are all different matters. You need to camp out on some loot piles and search them every 20 minutes in the hopes you may get some. I have gotten 11 units of milk, 11 horn, 50 Mollusk and 19 crustacean that way. By no means a great haul, but let us hope for a better system to come soon. I have been able to loot milk from the local town thugs in Mos Eisley, but me and a friend killed hundreds and hundreds of then to get only 3 units. Not much use there. But it was fun killing these easy mobs since for some reason the spawn rate was insane. We were surrounded by 5-10 thieves at all times for more than an hour.

Borgle cave and torton cave on Rori have drops that drop milk and mollusks as well as the other goodies like the uber skill tapes.

I recommend the Borgle cave spent time inside these caves on Intrepid and the re-spawn rate for loot was about every 30 minutes respawn rate for the borgles was about every35-45 minutes.. the Pgymy torton cave however seem to be reall slow.. i was their for about 3 hours tortons respawn once in the 3 hours and the loot drops were taking longer time as well about every 45-60 minutes for respawn.. dont know why but it was slower then borgle caves also more crap at torton their were i think 7 loot drops and 5 of them would drop low cash under 250 and a cdef what a waste ..

Perhaps someday the developers will add a steal option to the Smugglers in this game.

that way smugglers can steal special materials from things, including milk and mollusks.

oh well...stealing is another thing not in this game but found in many other online games.

Mollusks can be found in rubble piles found in the "lost city" (or some-such) on Talus--the same place where GSPs spawn. They get camped, but I was able to make a few advanced tissues after a couple of hours. Good luck ...the lost city can be found on the POI tab .
