Thread: anyone gotten a malkloc plains walker

I hear they go for like 15 or 20 million. My friend ran into some once & they had according to him 100% resists to kinetic. They'd fight rancors & not take any damage. Just curious if anyones ever gotten one.

sad to say even with 100% kinetic it'll still take kinetic damage. the nightersister spell weavers have medium armor and 100% kinetic and i can slap them around with my VK and do damage, just not on every hit

Yes, there are young ones.
I managed to find one tried to sample, he went aggro me and the rest of them went agro on the young one.
I then killed all the others trying to keep the young one alive as they were just aggro on each other, but they were respawning quicker than I could kill them and when one is aggro they all go.
So after about 3hrs I gave up. Tried the spawn again about 4 hrs later but they were gone.
Found a couple of spawns since, but no young ones.
Would be good DNA if only it was easier to get.

They seem to hang out by the Dath Tarpits, but I'm reasonably sure the big 'uns can't be sampled. I have been able to sample from the young ones with no trouble, though

wut good would it be anyways being we cant make a creature over 60 kinetic anyways i wish we could at least get to kinetic 80% and we could sample up to CL 100 or 90

I have seen these, but couldn't get a sample no matter how hard I tried. I have heard there are such things as young plainswalkers, but I haven't found any. Those might be a much lower CL. And yes...they were 100% kinetic. Other stuff was pretty good too, but I don't remember the exact stats.

No, you can't sample the bigguns. The Young Malklok Plainswalker is sample-able, but its kinetic resists are at 65%. Specials on the DNA are force strike (doesn't stick to a clone), and Crippling Strike. CL55 if memory serves. Not the greatest stuff in the world for how difficult it is to just find one, but it works when ya got it.
