I am rapidly approaching MBE and was tossing around an idea for selling sets of pets. I plan on selling single pets and crates of stims when the time comes, but was also thinking of selling packs with the following in them:

The Master CH pack: 1 CL60-CL70 pet w/ KD and Strong Poison, 2 CL35Pets (thetwins)with KD, Dizzy, Intimidateand Strong Poison, 1 CL24/2CL23 pets (the triplets) with Strong Poison x2, KD, Dizzy, Intimidate and Stun, and 2 crates of pet stims.

The Novice CH pack : 2 CL12 pets (varying specials), and a crate of pet stims.

The PvP CH pack: The twins with KD, Dizzy, Strong Poison, Strong Disease, 2 CL 50-70 pet's with Strong Poison and KD, and a crate of pet stims.

Just a thought, let me know if there are other combos that would work good or if the special combo's I've got could be adjusted.

I think this is a great idea. Will you premake these "packs" or do them custom? I guess they would have to be custom to allow for skins the buyer wanted. Also, are you going to be looser on the specials? They are a very good combo, but I dont doubt that somebodys gonna get it through their thick skull that it has to be done THEIR way.

Yes, I will be doing custom orders. But I also plan on stocking these packs in certain types (i.e. All cat skins, or all insect skins, or all dog skins, or all large creature skins). The plan is, when I post them on the vendor it will include the basics on each pet (ham, kinetic resist, armor, specials, skin type).

Hmm, well, it's a nice idea, but difficult to actually pull off with the in-game tools we have to work with. If you plan to do this through a vendor, I wouldn't recommend it. The only way to do it, would be to put these packages inside containers and put them on the vendor, but the trouble with that is the customer cannot see the stats on anything inside the container, and it would require a gigantic leap of faith for someone to purchase such a thing sight unseen. If you have 2 really nice CL 35 pets, better to just put them both on the vendor ala-carte since you never know whether the next customer will already have 1 and only need a second, or are looking for 2. Also, generally the reason to sell "package deals" is to encourage customers to buy more than they ordinary would. Again, this is not something you generally need to worry about as an MBE, because as soon as you get "known" a little bit, you're going to sell out of everything good you have pretty rappidly and your biggest problem is going to be trying to keep up with demand. No real need to offer package deals unless you are just trying to reward some repeat buyers or something.

One thing I do like to do, is reward customers who spend a bunch of dough on my stuff with a few really nice pet stim D's. Plus it's just fun to see them oggle over a pet stim that heals 1400 in one shot, lol.
