Hi Everyone,
One thing I've had on my mind for some time, is trying to put together some type of in-game event where we could meet one another and goof off. I know that this has been done in other forums. Good examples of this are the "noob ranger" hunts, and the entertainer gatherings. I realize that it is difficult to really capture the essence of the "BE" as a group because we are an advanced crafting profession and expecting everyone to grind to BE on a server they don't normally play just for the purpose of a gathering isn't realistic. Sooo.... what I'd like to know is:
1) is there any interest in such a thing
2) if there is interest, I'd love to hear people's ideas on how we might accomplish it. Generally when there is a will, there is a way

Yeah i'll come. Problem is, dont really want to grind up MBE (or at least some of it) ... any chance you could arrange for Pex to give us all blue frogs as soon as we join the server?

If this is a social event, Novice Anything would be just as good as Master BE.
But if it is to expand into a collaboration, then it's time to open a bottle of arthritis medicine for our mouse hands.
Either way, it sounds like fun.

Ok, I probably should clarify... I don't expect anyone to grind anything for this. I wouldn't do that if we do it on a server I don't play on, so I won't expect you to do it either.
So what I'm looking for are alternatives. I'm willing to request anything of the devs (including blue froggies on TC) if we think that would make the event more fun, or were essential to the event, but of course there is no telling whether they would honor such a request or not.
One thought I had was getting the cooperation from a master be/master ch or two and just having a massive hunt with non-ch pets. I have this vision ofa huge herd ofnon-ch pets and noobs with cdefs blasting away at rancors, lol.

fishing event will be nice for BE and all others since all can fish and BE need fish meat
just a little idea...

Any volunteers for the BE and CH? I volunteer to make the cdefs, and reservations at the cloning center.

I don't think my red-hot-blistering-fire-gun-thingy will reach from the pacific to Texas, and there's no way it'll hit Lloyd across the pond, so I will unfortunately be unable to participate in the flamefest.

All geared up and no one to flame. And I was so looking forward to the satisfying stench of burning ether.
Considering our two-continent composition, it sounds like a weekend might be best.
