im 1022 in bio engineer. I can make so so non ch pets. Im halfway to 1032 and it seems the dna xp is taking for ever. Does anyone have any tips on getting this 25k dna? Like i've been sampling Pikets. Any other suggestions?

You could try hopping up on Muon Gold and sampling newbie yard trash. you get some downtime between hits, but is a pretty steady source of XP.

I have been going to yavin 4 and doing mawgax missions for my dna experience. It went by pretty fast, the giants give me 370 experience per sample. Giant anglers give me 406 per sample, but they are red and hard to sample sometimes without good mask scent. Plus you can kill the lairs of mawgax's and get 9k credits. I did this for dna II-IV and it wasn't that bad.

giant biznatches on dath once you get dna3. take the north missions from the nort outpost. 406xp each and they very rarely attack from sampling.

What speed of exp gain are you guys considering good? I started trying to get DNA exp a few days ago, using fishnak and sampling from newbie mobs on both Corellia and Tatooine. I was getting at best 1 sucess for 10 tries, and I actually failed at one point 88 times in a ROW before finally succeeding once on the 89th sample. I gave up in disguist and sent a CS ticket asking ifexp isbroken. They responded that it's working as intended. (Yeah, RIGHT!)

So I am curious... Is this a normal ratio of failure to success? I was sampling for around 5 hours - the easiest/lowest level stuffin the game and guzzling fishnak, and I only got 4500 exp (that isabout 50 successes total).

Has anyone been grinding DNA sampling exp (starting at level 1) in the last few days on some other animals with better results? Maybe there is just a bug with newbie monsters?Orsomething wrong with just my char? Or is that a normal rate of gaining exp?

I did DNA sampling I yesterday using newbie trash on Naboo and it worked pretty well... got the 10,000 i needed for DNA Sampling I in a couple hours. I didnt see anything abnormal about the ammount of failures... i had streaks of some failures, and then streaks of successes.
