Thread: How to calculate what To Hit you will get from a DNA template
Howcan you calculate whatTo Hityou will get from a DNA template?
This appears more complicated than thecalculations for Damage and Attack Speed.
Round Cleverness up to nearest 10
Divide by 1000
Add 0.01
Example:
Cleverness = 516
0.01 + 520/1000 = .53
This does not seem to workas wellwhen Cleverness gets far from 500.Further testing is needed.
This is useful when picking what sample to put into theMental slot. If you want higher To Hit and don't care so much about Mind Pool, just choose the sample with the highest Cleverness, ignoring Intelligence. If you want to lower CL, you want low Courage and low Intelligence, since Intelligence determines the Mind Pool. I don't know how this will affect Specials when re-sampling clones. It won't affect the Specials of the current clone.
this has to be wrong. my data alone (being with much lower numbers than your example) point to a more complicated equasion. here ar my numbers:
0.25 87 9.32 348 0.002873563
0.26 94 9.69 361.53 0.002765957
0.28 131 11.4 467.85 0.002137405
0.33 208 14.4 630.30 0.001586538
0.36 248 15.7 688.88 0.001451613
0.38 289 17 760.52 0.001314879
collumn 1: tohit
collumn 2: Cleverness
collumn 3: square root of cleverness
collumn 4: c2/c1
collumn 5: c1/c2
as you can see, the equasion cannot be linear. when graphed, it looks like something may be cubed or cube rooted. though i cant tell.
cjohnk has come up with a much better calculation:
To Hit = 0.19 + cleverness/1500
