HELLO TO ALL. I ONLY HAVE ONE QUESTION. IS THERE A FORMULA BESIDES JUST PUTTING PETS ON TRADE FORUM TO GET A IDEAL OF WORTH? I AM ON TEMPEST. ANY HELP ON THIS WOULD BE HELPFULL. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

Short answer is...........No

Long answer is.........Since every galaxy has a different economy a universal pricing guide just wolnt work. And since pet crafting isnt even fixed yet (comming soon though) who knows what pets will be worth.

I am feeling very tempted to try this formula:

one thousand credits * (minutes spent making pet including research and sampling) + 25K * (trips to clone)

or something of that ilk.

rofl.....That's good Dor but you forgot to add in the cost of storing your clone data and insurance (everytime you have to clone).

Pre-CU, I only did CL 65-70 pets as special orders and would charge...and get...1 mil up front and 1 mil on delivery.

I specialized in mass producing CL10 non-uber pets that had 6-7K health and 70-120 damage with 20% kinetic. I sold them for 20K each and I couldn't keep them on my vendor. Of course the selling priceand frequency of salesis dependant on a few factors; the amount of time you spend crafting, your server economy, and your vendor location.

I also specialized in crafting CL35 twins as a special order, since they involved specific DNA and multi-generations. I'd sell the twins for 200K a set.

I miss those days.

Hehe, if cloning and insuring is costing you anywhere near 25k, you've got other problems to deal with

It's nice to have some formulas to go by, and I certainly appreciate the post here. I sort of use them like I use recipes... it's a guideline, but the outcome is usually based on whatever whim I had at the moment.

2MM for a pet? Really?

Well, cloning is 1k and insurance is something like 800-1k everytime you clone......and at CL 17 it's quite often now..lol.

Try traveling on Dath now...not a lot of fun. Of course they made MR's CL 76 so I doubt I'll be trying to sample them any more. Last time I tried, I ended up cloning 5 or 6 times before I even got close enough to try to sample. Got to hate those Night Sisters
