Thread: Your Non-CH Pet Formulas
While I don't have a new recipe for non-CH pets, I can tell you what I charge. For average, normal non-CH pets I charge 30k. If the pet is a little below average I'll go to 25k or even 20k, and if it is above average I'll go to 35k.
Just for reference, average (to me) is:
4k/3k/2k HAM...10-15% kin or ene (with a vuln)...Specials: at least 1 (dizzy, crippling, etc.) =30,000 creds
My good ones end up with:
1k-2k more total HAM... 15-20% kin or ene (but no vuln)... 2 specials =35,000 creds
Thanks for the pricing info. I've been using the dasher/dasher/pup/pup/pup formula, experimenting one box on health and mental, and I usually get a pet around 3800-3900 Health (less action and mental), 0-15 kinetic and blast, and maybe a dizzy strike. They're good pets, but I know people are doing better. Any tips would be appreciated!
Thanks again,
Vexa
Pricing, IMO, really depends on the effort involved. Making first generation formula pets is easy, and can be well worth the money too. just charge cheap, you can make a bunch of pets per travel to say dantooine.
(remember now you can call droids and everything without camps
I have a crafting droid out as I sample, then craft on the fly to keep inventory usage low)
You can also make grossly overpowered nonCH pets by using multi generational DNA, creatures like merek harvesters can be used to gain very high kinetic resist on pets, while keeping the level low over several generations. making these pets takes much more DNA and time though. Additionally overpowered pets will most likelybe nerfed in the future.
Since no one knows what the future acceptable stats on nonCH pets will be its tough to say whats going to be valid/invalid eventually. But right now its possible to put in a lot of work and get some exceptional nonCH pets. Charge an arm and leg for those, and charge less for the formulaic one gen nonCH pets.
example: multi gen pets I've gotten upto 9K health 7K action 3K mind, 53% kinetic resist. doubt it will last past a nerf, but its worth for grinding is huge, so charge accordingly.
Overall, price according to basic economics and you can't go wrong: if you sell pets faster than you can make them, then increase price. If you're sitting on a huge stock of pets that won't move, drop price
Server dictates price, see what the most you can get is, and go from there.

Octarion, pretty sure the Dune Lizard is an "Agressive skin" so only a CH 2-x-x-x can use them.
It's a shame as I love the Vesp skin but thats also classed as agressive. There is a list of the agressive/non agessive in the FAQ.
As for non-ch at the moment it's vd/pup for 15K as its only single generation with easy to get DNA, for harder DNA and multi-gen it would be more.

Thanks for the information, everyone.Concerning prices, I agree that you have to go with what the market will bear. A lot of this has to do with supply -- if you're the only one making decent non-CH pets with any reliability, of course you can charge more for them. I also appreciate the 'crafting on the fly' thing now that we can call droids anywhere -- sure saves me dragging around a backpack full of huurton pup DNA.
Armeno -- would you share a general formula for the sort of pet you're talking about? I'm a master, but still new to the profession, and have yet to figure out the logic of resampling. If you could just give an idea of how you go about it, I could start experimenting myself. Obviously not looking to make a lot of 9k health cl10 pets, but would like to know I can (or at least use it as a way to figure out multi-gen sampling).
Thanks again!

Hi all,
For the pricing.... why dont u use the BE Calculator... its a good ref. for pricing pets...
If u try it with a regular CL10 VD,VD,HP,HP,HP (4k,3k,2k, 14Kin, 10Eng, 50Dmg etc..)
u get 47K $...
Last night, i did a run on dantoine and produce 10 Cu pa .. (no Cl11... hehe ).
I put them in my vendor on coronet and spam my vendor adresse with the description of my Cu pa..
I went to bed... next morning.... ALL SOLD (each 45K)
Right now .. the demand for Cu Pa and Bantha are crazy...
Good luck
