Hey all, I'm looking to make some battle pets to fight the new probots. Anyone played around with this? I am assuming that the probots do energy damage.

Hell man, I'm not even sure if the new probots could beat a gubber one-on-one, lol, have you seen those things? I feel terrible about this by the way. I didn't feel the old probots were worth using, but the devs made some silly statement about those being the equivalent of CL 100+ blah blah blah, some nonesense like that, and now the probots have no armor at all. The really scary thing of course is that this kind of sets the bar for where they feel non-ch pets should be so I guess we should prepare ourselves for a bunch of gubber-quality pets running around.

Uh, some of the DE's I know are making 1200-1700 HAM pets with 20-40% resists. that seems pretty good to me.

In a one on one battle of Probot versus BE nonCH pet, the Probot would win becasue it does about 100 damage ever 0.75 seconds where as the damage on the standard nonCH tank pet is 50-60 with a terrible tohit ratio and about 2.2 speed. A decent BE nonCH pet will have a little more then twice as much HAM as a Probot so it will be a long battle but the BE pets ability to deal damage is jsut too low, it will not be able to kill the probot before the probot kills it.

Aye... My 4K HAM CL10 pet died from a Probot with less than 1k HAM.... took a long while and was a close call, but the fact is... high HAM CL10 pets does nigh all damage (apart from a few ones that i have seen with 110+ dmg and still great HAM....those i have a feeling would take the droids)
