We'll you guessed it, i'm a Bio-Engineer to raid bases...

Here is a screenshot from a recent raid: http://www.ghost-squadron.com/jade/screenShot0061.jpg

As you might have noticed its the Override Terminal on the base.

The puzzle "seems" simple. It appears you have to find some letters or something to assimble the requested code "AT,TA,GC,CG"

As far as I know it takes people from 10 minutes to 30 minutes to complete this task. I was complete lost and pretty much just started clicking at randon and then click on the options one at a time from top to bottom over and over and over again....

Finially i got the thing DNA Sequenced to over-ride.

My question is this.... What exactly are you supposed to be doing on this terminal to complete it quickly? It seems like it should be some kind of puzzle but really I don't get what i'm doing.

Thanks!

i would tell you but your rebel

just kidding you just have to match up the nucliotides, the thinga the

see how it says AT,TA,GC,CG

then you see

CGC

you should choose soemthing to match with the C on the CGC so it GC or CG i cant remmber if you match the left letter or the right, you should get a new DNA Chain after you match that one and what ever selection you choose should go poof.

your goal is to make them all dissappear.

Ah!

I was trying to get the two letters in the lower section one at a time, I couldn't figure out what the "Sampled Chain: CGC" meant.

So basically you use the selection below to knock letters off the "Sampled Chain" to make the Sampled Chain match one of the "missing pairs".

I noticed I started with all single characters below, and ended up with basically all double characters (from what I could tell). I'm thinking that would mean the solution should be to almost always select only single character options in lower section...

Cool.

Thanks!

aye, the next screen usally returns a diffrent chain.

if you cant match anything just select what ever and it will return a error and say try again with a diffrent set of letters.

from what my friend told me, and got it to work, AT,TA,CG,GC are mates, and it always follows that rule.

A always has T for a mate, C always has G,etc,etc...

I think the sample chain is bad description but its seems to be the rule for DNA in RL so is more of a guideline. Just been awhile since did a base cap and cant remember what it gave for answers.

but if keep pair grouping like the sample chain you should get it easy.
