0 for 10 Enraged Rancors

0 for 2 Mutant Rancors, 1 incap but it didnt db me so I guess Im glad

I'm doing a lot of crawling and running, and so far its coming across as a waste of time.

Is there a switch I forgot to flip ? Whats the problem ?

Help.

Seems like you could get a good saliva sample while he is chewing on your head.

Please.

First off... give up on Enraged Rancors. They are beyond our limits.

Second... I average about 1 DNA per 15-20 attempts on Mutant Rancors, that is assuming I can get close to them. Also, If you are not a Master you have next to no chance of sampling the Mutants. Get yourself some Jawa Beer, +25 in masked scent clothing, and keep on trying. A good day is when you walk away with 8-10 samples from the Mutants. At least it is a good day for me.

And don't forget the BUFFS!!

Im not sure I enjoyed it, but maybe I did. I finally got 8 samples, and didnt die.

I did rip my pants on a tree root. Now I'm not sure if I want to tense up when I break the dna template.

I did all the crawling, hiding behind cover, moving up from behind, running away uphill....it all worked.

...those Rancors sure are delicate though, have not killed like that since my dna two days

Im thinking about making a Bearded Jax, I like them, but thats prolly a waste ?

I'm at +25 Scent, would the Jawa <made with wooly hide ugh> actually go over the +25 cap ?

p.s. the thought of mutant drool on my head makes me want to take a shower, thanks

Would it help you to be /conceal'd by a master ranger? Also, can you guys make tissue for for +camoflage? Just curious. I think a ranger may help your woes.

yes, the tissue we make is mask scent/camo. it has both on them. the applicator has to be wearing it, keep that in mind.

also, camo is somewhat broken. your mask scent is hosed for every other planet for the rest of the day. if it breaks and your ranger isn't around, yer DNA sampling session is halted. plus, camo doesn't even work right as far as what can see through it.

imho, just master scout and get a tailor to make you +mask scent clothings. or jawa beer, or whatever.

and don't forget those buffs! they make a huge difference when sampling rancors.
