Thread: Non-BE asks: seafood demand?
crustacians are useless to us, don't bother with them, I actually hit the "destroy" on them. And before someone points out that they can fulfull the "create food" requirement in schematics, that is true, but the quantities of crustatians that I get make that impractical and with our storage problems I simply cannot store small stacks of anything.
Mollusk on the other hand is valuable. We can make a tissue for rifleman from that, and while the tissue is not a hot seller, those that want it will pay a lot for it.
Fish are also valuable, and can be harvested at the same time as you harvest mollusk. You can't "macro" fish the way you can mollusk, but you can still do it while you are chatting with friends, paying bills, or doing your taxes, lol. Fishing doesn't exactly require undevided attention.
I'm surprised that you say you haven't been able to sell these things. A quick "sanity" check on your sales:
a) what is the quantity that you are selling? Anything less than 250 or so would be mostly useless to us. And the larger the stack, the more valuable (on a cpu basis) it is.
b) what are the quality numbers of the stuff you are selling? Quality is very important to a BE. For something to be real compelling it should average 600+ or so in OQ, PE, and flavor.
c) where are you selling it? I probably don't need to tell you, but some bazars get a lot more action then others.

For the life of me, i can't remember if the good stuff was the crustaceans or mollusks... maybe that would help explain why then... thanks for the info on what is used where, I was clueless
