Hello my fellow mad scientists,

I am in need of some adivce... Now that I have attained a level of expertise that enables me to create quality products I was wondering what the going rate for BE good is. If any of you would be kind enough to leave a short list (I know many vendors hate to give prices on the boards)of what the AVERAGE rate for our products are I would be most grateful. I know I am being lazy asking all of you to give me a price list... But I am a scientist which makes me lazy by nature. I use abbriviations, spell check, calculators, and continue the research of the great minds before me. If you do not wish to post prices maybe you can give mea few waypoints to respected BE vendors and I will compile a list from visiting your luxurios shops.

Thanks for your help,

It just varies from server to server from planet to planet what you can charge for things.

The best thing to do is open the global map (control-v), look under vendors, and find all the bio-engineer vendors on your planet and go visit them and see what they are offering and how much they are charging.

Yeah I figured that is what i was going to have to do. Oh well, I had to try to get the answer the easy way. Thanks for the info about planet to planet. It escaped me that the economies of the different planets vary. Well I am off to spy on my fellow BEs shops.

Thanks again for the help

i charge about 10 times all the resources added together. (except for pets which there's another thread going about that.) then i factor in demand, (my tailor friend is always demanding! lol) ifit flies off my vendor, i raise the price by 1k, if it falls off my vendor (ie, doesn't sell in 30 days) i lower the price by 1k. i don't go under 3 times resources, i'll just let it sit and rot.

take a look at the bazaar resources section and find what is being charged for 1k stacks of various resources and take an estimated average of that. for instance, resourcesget as high as 10 to 1 on flurry. but on sunrunner, i found they only go as high as about 6 to 1.

hope that helps you find a pricing plan!

My advice is to use the search feature here in the forum. There have been SO many pricing threads I think most of us have just gotten lazy and synical about posting what we charge over and over and over again.

What I really wish is that we'd just have one bug "mother of all pricing" threads, compile the numbers, post it, and sticky it. I know I know, many complain about price fixing, being unimaginative about pricing, server differences and so forth, but it does help out new folks like this fellow and the dozens like him each week who seek this type of info.

Edit: What the hell... I'm gonna do it
