Thread: Sampled a bull rancor last night

Last night was a great time on Dath (bria). There were random spawn of rancor everywhere my buddy and I went. I managed to get three samples of bull rancor while not getting aggro'd (I love my new mask scent clothing) and would like to create a LVL70 somehow. Since I logged on Dath, I could attempt to get more samples. I know mutant rancor DNA would have to be mixed since it is LVL75. If I use all bull rancor DNA and experiment up, will it hit LVL70? I'm sure I could find out by experience, but getting these samples were too painful to just experiment on. Can someone shine the light please?

After a particularly successful evening of Bull Rancor samplings, I was able to craft one creature to CL69, one to CL71, and one to CL72. I spread the experimentation points pretty evenly, so I cant say that one line will work better than another...

I'm guessing you could experiment up to 70. I spent my first mutant rancor samples on a level 76 creature with no experimentation at all. Oops. It seems that the higher the stats, the higher potential they have with experimentation, I would wonder if maybe you even have to be careful not to go over. Also, once you get good at rancor sampling, it's not too difficult if your maskscent is at least 100 and you crawl. Never fall in love with a DNA sample! One crit fail, or an amazingly successful experiment point can ruin a whole project.

I *think* you can get Bull rancor dna up tp 70 if you experiment in damge. I recall seeing some posts on this so look it up to see exactly what was done. However, the best way to do this, on your own, is to get alot of samples and make small moves with experimenting and record the stats. before you know it, you will know, exactly, what the numbers need to be to get cl70.
