I don't have to know how they go into any given piece. Identical tissues in any one slot don't stack. Bonuses in different slots do.It's pretty straight-foward. It's the same for all clothing and it was all over these boards when tissues came out.
This I know, and had I realized that was the question I would have responded in kind. But the poster was asking specifically about a particular piece of clothing and wanted to know exactly how tissues went into someting with '2+1' slots. Since, as a BE I'm not familiar with the clothing I pointed her in the direction of where she could find that info. Obviously I didn't completely understand the question she posted, but at least I tried to provide some assistance in a polite way.
You claim you want to make this board a nicer place and yet you'll go out of your way to insult the level of knowledge a BE has simply because he didn't know the specifics about how tailor tissues went into a particular hat? You might want to put down those stones before you break any more windows.

If I misinterpreted, I'm sorry. Hell, I told someone just today their question about babies would probably find more informed answers on the CH so I can see where you're coming from.
I have simply seen this board degenerate for the worst lately. Worse, when someone came here and tried to complain today in what appeared to me to be in a constructive manner, it got deleted and swept under the rug. This prevalent attitude will not go away as long as we continue to enable it and it's something I guess I'm a bit over-sensitive about today. Again, my appologies.

Can we not argue?
Mai didnt think he insulted you... he just said,"instead of brushing Mai off and send Mai away to other forums he would answer the most simplest question any BE would have known" Mai kinds of sum it up hehe - not exact words.
Well he did answer Mai's questions and maybe Mai didn't word it right in the first place... Thanks again Sir Tal.
PLEASE LET THIS ISSUE RESTS until further questions - THANK YOU ALL AGAIN

Appologies to you as well. I think tensions on the board have been running higher lately.

Nah, he's right. I assumed the worst and was aggressively chastizing in my tone. My behaving that way isn't going to do anything to improve the air here.

FYI
That sticky threat is no longercorrected....
Mai think the problem with SWG is that professions are as easy to change as clothings...
People posted themselves there and then changed to something else the next day... Mai contacted few and theytold Maithat they were no longer BE>.<
Thanks again for everything...
I'm not sure why it's not longer stickied, but here is the thread I mentioned:

For any identical slots you will need at least one extra tissue made.
This is because the tailor will have to turn these into identical synthetic cloths or fiber panels, which will require an extra for making the factory schematic. Due to the chance of a critical fail you might want an extra on top of that.
In this case, my recomendation is to make a crate of five. One for the schematic, one in case of a crit fail, and the remaining three will go into the hat.

hi
i am having a bit of a problem can anyone help? please
let's make an example...
Someone want a 25+ on a sunguard which allow 2+1 synth cloths...
how does this work?
Is that mean i have to make two identical items(factory) with BE tissue in it for the identical one of 13X(2)
and for the 1 alone i can add whatever bonus up to 17+ am i correct?
Please explain this a bit for me... i probably missed this out some where on the FAQ...
I am also looking for some BE to buy Tissues from - so anyone can be a good suppliers please let me know...
Iam very grateful for the help
Thank you

Its not in the BE FAQ because its really a tailor thing. I'd check out the tailor forum and see how you add tissues to clothing items.

Rather than brush you off to another board, I'll answer your question. Really guys, any BE worth his salt should be able to answer this question.
Slots for multiple identical panels don't stack any bonus that's in the panels. You only get the bonus once in these slots. What you'll need is 2 identical for the first slot and 1 for the second slot to get a +25.

Thank you soooo much sir Talthazar.... Mai is very grateful
So in this order Mai would be wasting one identical piece of tissue in the identical slot right?
which mean Mai would needed 4 tissues for the same thing because:
1 for schematic
2 for the identical
1 for single
all this in order to get the +25 in one skill bonus for the sunguard?
3 if Mai purchased from someone and no need to make schematic:
1 for single slot synth cloth
2 for identical slot of synth
Please correct Mai if Mai was wrong in any way...
Mai agrees with sir because Mai thinks BE should have some what of the knowledge of this subject since often times customers want to ask this...
Mai believes a good BE is one who knows not only what in his profession but also stuffs that related to his profession as well (not everything but some what knowledgable of it)... THANK YOU
Thanks again for not brushing Mai off...
Mai is on Tempest. Anyone interested in providing Mai with crates of tissues? Thank you
