I haven't tried making any of these types of monsters, but out of curiosity, how many generations did these things take?

The CL 7 was several generations (5 plus) and it was a combine of several other 2+ generation clones. I think the level 16 was a4th generation clone, but I could be wrong. The CL 15 was a 2nd gen clone of the CL 16 + CL 7 creatures mentioned above. I was really tiered last night and stopped making notes.

I can't help but think there is something wrong with generational cloning. Logically, generational cloning should not give you similar stats with lower CL, yet it seems to do just that.

Please don't say that too loudly. We don't want them to take that (generational cloning) away from us

Lol, I know what you mean, but sometimes I can't help wondering if we'd have fewer headaches with odd pets without it.Seriously though, I think we need to keep generational cloning, but it should further refine pets not, further bug em

Like I said in an earlier post, there shouldn't be anything wrong with making pets other than 1st gen, but there is an obvious problem with some of the pets that are being made. I personally have a problem with selling a pet such as the lvl7 cu-pa, but it'll get nerfed eventually anyhow

umm.... lol

i can make better pets on a second generation pet..... but the point is i rarely do

they are FAR beyond the expected creature level........veryfar

i make and sell enough of the 6k health/14kinetic nonch pets with good specials and sell them fairly well

i would only make pets like this if you want to deal with some pissed off customers in the future

This question isNOT meant to discuss the validity of these abominations, but to ascertain the low creature levelsfor highHAM and / or armor in the current system. I was playing around last night and made the following:

CL 7

Skin: Cu Pa

Armor: None

Health: 9940

Action: 6278

Mind: 4717

Kinetic Resist: 55

Damage: 30-40

SA1: Blind

SA2: Intimidation

Ranged: True

CL 15

Skin: Cu Pa

Armor: Light

Health: 8737

Action: 2275

Mind: 2796

Kinetic Resist: 56

Damage: 30-40

SA1: Blind

SA2: Intimidation

Ranged: False

CL 16

Skin: Cu Pa

Armor: Light

Health: 10317

Action: 7660

Mind: 3460

Kinetic Resist: 57

Damage: 30-40

SA1: Crippling Strike

SA2: Intimidation

Ranged: False

Has anyone else seen numbers this ridiculous? If so please post what you the stats.

I dont thinks it strictly a generational error. I can reliably make CL8s with 10K/5K/2K 220-240 damage KD/Dizzy on 2nd gen ONLY if I experiment the physique to max. If I dont, useing the same recipe, the CL is 18. So making the pet stronger is reducing the CL. The only thing I have noticed is I'm always 6-9 points shy in fortitude to get armor. So it may be some odd math error there? For the record.. I didn't start out trying to make one of these.. I was working on Trios.
