Thread: So what is this Research Data as a add-in.

I think the devs simply want to have the option to add some kind of lootable boost-component for our schematics same as our additives boost the chef-food... the reason why they didn't added them might be the fact that we ususally do very large runs of additives and the current system of such loot only might get us identical componets (same serial number) of lets say up to 10 items per loot.
But the option is open now in case the devs decide to use it in the future.

Well I read thru alot of that. Didn't see this in there. Maybe I missed it or don't remember reading it. /shrugs

Actually, there is a very recent thread on this that says the research data does exist. Rumors are it can be had by foraging (ranger) in certain places. Personally, I'm not going to waste my time looking for it if it can't go in a full factory run. Just my .02 credits.
