or do most BE do the whole thing? I only ask because I'm a BE who is also a master ranger and I'm hoping to sqeeze in tissue crafting into my template.... I'm planning on 0-4-0-4 BE... I guess a better phrasing of the question is can a BE with those skill blocks still make good tissues?
Thanks for your input folks

I don't know about that. You wont be able to make the best tissues, that's for sure. In some cases that doesn't matter but in others it does. Not having Master is a real handicap on creature making and tissues in my opinion.

well it's not looking good for me.... I was just doing the math, and having master ranger I think the only way I could get master BE would be to drop all my combat skills..... and I'm talkign ALL my combat skills Not sure if I can do that....

Yeah it's painful. I really miss my rangering skills. If you really want to be a BE, I think you'll find as I did that ranger is just not very practical.

it takes 148 Skill Points to become a Master Bio-Engineer.

The tracking tree comes in very handy as a BE though and you can fit that MBE and some combat skills in.

With those skills it is quite easy to make +13 tissues to sell to tailors - if the resources are a nice high quality anyway. I started maiing Tailor Tissues at that skill level, just to see if I could - as I recall

Chef Tissues will be a no-no though, since they need to be pushed a litle higher in my experience.

Thanks for the hope I was starting to get a little down on my choices for a minute there

The problem isnt just the extra 2 points in experiment you get at MBE, its all the schematics you get there too. If you want to make competitive tissues and additives, MBE is a must. The only market you can make it in as a non-master, in my experience, is pets, since you can get by with only HQ and AA DNA

Hunting meat becomes so much more doable if you put the ranger skills into more weapon skill. That's the thing that really got me. The best hunter is the guy who has mastered both ranger and a weapon skill, but if you can only do one, you have to go with the weapon skill. I also go tired of peddling my goods so I needed merchant skill to set up a vendor, and that's so costly I can only afford rifles IV in the marksmen tree, and two boxes of CH to have a decent hunting pet. I want more skillpoints!

But even then, if someone asks for a monster CL65+ pet, all you can say is, Um..I've got some nice low CL banthas? How about a bantha? Most of my creature profits come from those people who want a specific super high powered creature. No MBE means no MR dna. Ouch.
