I wanted to clear a couple of things up - Some friends posted a message with their feelings on my leaving, and told me about it. I looked and was not in favor of what they had posted, but my only comment was to correct them on the inaccuracy of their mentioning the forum administrator- she has always been fair and reasonable here, and does a good job of it.

I have left the game. I made my decision and have not been on the boards or the game; a hard habit to break as far as a board I used to read every day, but there's no reason for me to be here any longer. I haven't finished closing down the account yet, simply because I put a lot into the characters and I just have a hard time getting on, giving away the things that are useful to my friends, and transferring the buildings, etc. Surprisingly, not having anyone to give my main pet on Naritus to has been among the hardest things to deal with; I hate seeing Nimby deleted more than the character there himself.

You can think what you like, and probably will, but I wanted to say that the post was not me on another account or anything else of the kind - a few friends are quite upset with my leaving and had their say on it, however briefly. I was more than a little dissappointed to see people whose names I did not recognise as particularly active on the forums berating them for their opinions, but that was only to be expected, given the things that were posted in the first place. I will say that two people who do not generally use the boards because of the way people are often treated here have had their opinion of the boards confirmed, at least in their eyes, by those reactions they received. The assumption that I had for some reason returned to the board after a week or so to post some kind of ghost reply is the only reason I am posting this now; it was not the case, and could be confirmed if the moderator felt is necessary to do so assuming the IP addresses of the accounts used for it are logged.

Believe what you want, I just wanted to set at least part of the record straight. I don't hold anything against anyone here; I made my decision and left the game of my own accord, and didn't feel any particular need to have anything else to say after goodbye.
