Thread: Where are all the Mereks at?

So last night I ran around talus, picking up some DNA I needed. Then I shuttled on over to Endor to pick up the last remaining Merek Harvester samples I needed. I seriously spent an hour and a half farting around Endor, and didn't find a single Merek lair, much less a Merek Harvester lair. Any suggestions in finding these? Will they come up on the mission terminal with a big enough group? Thanks for the help

I usually find merek harvestersin the hills next to the smuggler outpost as well as the desert mountian top north of the outpost (the big brown area on the map).

hmm, I went there... but only found a slew of arachnes who were more than happy to poison me.

The hills around startpost are usually good places for the MH. Try to go there after a server repop 
Arkos.

I generally look between the smuggler outpost and the ritual cave poi, you'll usually find them there.

actually, was made aware of a static spawn, king and five harvesters here. 3900, 5750

someone else mentioned this when the DWB came out...check the line between the DWB and the Smuggler Outpost; since all the DWB raiding parties go through there the spawn rate is much denser along this zone. I usually find them pretty easily in the Salma Desert and Oniantae Hills, just keep your eye out for An Earthen Mound lairs; these are usually Arachnes in the flatlands but usually Mereks in the hill zones. Try circling the Smuggler Outpost in the hills, keeping between 500 and 1500 meters away, this is the "mission spawn" zone, so again, people running through to get to missions will up the spawn rate.

the other night I couldn't find them for love nor money. I keep coming across Archane lairs, it was seriously annoying. I spent at least 2hrs looking for them,
Tuesday night though, I couldn't anything else, they were all over the place it was great. Got enough to keep me off Endor for a while, just need some surefooted Brackasets and I'm sorted for the month
- Also I always find them in the hills around the smugglers outpost.
