im a CH 3 3 3 3 and ive been taming creatures to get to master after the patch. If i became a novice BE how hard is it to make creatures to tame. I would only need mass amounts of creatures NOT the best out there. I know that it is not right but after i started CH i didn't really like it(pre-patch), and im going TKA - Doc, but i dont want to just leave this hanging without mastering it. So please, let me know, is this possible and would it work for me?

Its easier to find 3 nests together, and tame babies.

Be's need to get 5 samples of DNA(often failing at novice) and alot of meat and vegetable matter.

I supplement my BE skills by having novice CH in order to train and look at my pets, supplementing CH exp with BE isn't going to work quite as well

As a tertiary form of exp earning, while you have the resources(i.e. sample the parents, tame the babies) you could get even more exp though than just taming on your own. That is actually a decent idea. Tame babies, sample parents. ALl you would need is alot of cash to buy your meat and veggies.

I'm novice in both (few boxes here and there) and it takesa little lesstime to sample 5 dna samples and craft a creature than it does to find babies to tame, so this may be a good idea.

To make basic creatures, you need 5 dna samples and about 30 creature food (meat) and 30 floral food (berries, etc). You craft the DNA into a creature template, then you combine the template with the food to craft an Inventory creature. You can then tame the creature, call it, and train it, and let it go.

Actually, this is probably much faster than finding babies.

And by the way, it's not unethical at all! You spend the skill points, you can use the skill however you like, whether it's your primary or just to support another skill. My CH/BE took up artisan just to be able to survey/samplesome resources to make a side profit to help buy guns, vehicle, etc. Nothing wrong with that, IMHO.

dabbling is what makes this game fun, and if you likecrafting your pets enough, you might drop something else and take up more BE

It is a good question really. I've had novice creature handlers ask me for 50 eopies made out of yard trash animals. Tame train release and you're good to go.

I will say however, if you want to grind creature handler just get a kaadu or some other low level animal and run around a city killing yard trash. Pick a city like Mos Espa on Tatooine. No bushes or anything to obscure your vision. All your pet has to do is hit the yard trash one time before you shoot it.You will get 120 or so xp an animal and they spawn continuously. No hunting babies, no sampling DNA and crafting a critter. You don't need meat or flora or anything. Low level animal killing yard trash is the way to go.

I was the Defender Of Coronet for quite a while(killing everything outside thecity). That is what got me to where i am, but now, the xp is horrible because of the patch. As for the resource issues, i have MASS amounts of meats and grain because i am a Doctor and was a Ranger before. The resources are not the problem. Thanks for the input and if anyone has any other suggestions let me know.

baby level is now considered like half of max, so ya that blows chunks.

I'd definitely suggest finding 3 lairs near eachother with wimpy monsters, but far enough apart that they respawn when you leave.

Tame the babies that are outside, run to the next, tame the babies that are outside, run to the next. By you the time you get back to the first one, first should have respawned the babies you kidnapped lol.

And craft BE pets while waiting on shuttles, and tame them. Best way to burn 9 minutes because you lagged and missed a shuttle by 1 second.
