CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

After months of hard work I have just made Master Droid Engineer.

This is my first master and is not a holo. Star Wars is all about droid's for me so when I joined thegalaxy I wentstraight into the DE profession. Unfortunately SOE seem to feel that droids have little or no value inSWG - so I am now wondering why I worked so hard to master it.

I guess I'll stick with it for the time being, at least until I need the skill points!

Yeah, hang in there awhile. I think all (non-holo) DEs go in for about the same reason and if you're a new master hang onto it for awhile and see. Maybe you'll get lucky where the rest of us didn't. And If not there really is much more to explore. I'm having a ball now that I moved on from DE, but i delt with broken droids since month 1, if you are still kinda new you might have the patience to see if anything ever comes of droids. And if you are Wanderhome maybe sell me one.

lol...u think you had problems- my friend had to do pikeman for the holo- took him 3 months

Master Pikeman was my first (and only one I'll ever look at) holocron. I'm sticking with pistoleer, though. At master it's been great so far. I've added novice commando so I can use the launcher pistols on blast-vulnerable enemies (plus, it is really fun to shoot that thing).

pistoleer was cake to master compared to swordsman. Pistoleer took 1 week total time. Swordsman 4 weeks total time.

I'm struggling with that last box of combat XP. It bites. I'm a little over halfway there.

Do you have grenades? If you get the ones everyone can use (C12's I think), you can throw one at each lair you take out for an extra hundred or two combat experience. Toss one on higherlevel mobs, too, if you have a group that is covering you. It adds up! I used grenades throughout the last 6 boxes of Pistoleer and by the time I was 4-4-4-3, I only needed a couple thousand combat exp to finish it up.
