I heard this was happen and want to ask if it was true. Someone said that you can change the color of a clone when you make it is it true or not?
you have a color palet to choose from when you combine the skin with your crafted DNA templet
Could be a bug or issue
- Some samples I have gathered give "unknown attack" for special attack 1
- Grauls
- Various Mantigrue
- the "armored rat" on dantooine (although it has no armor rating)
I have posted the creatures found with this problem to the TC bug thread, tried to sample a frenzied graul but was sent to the clone center for my trouble, will try to give a definate answer later
sorry to cause trouble, but this could be another possible issue, or just my senility kicking in
when examining creatures, some with have resists listed in a box labled "special protection" or something like that, then the remaining resists will be in a box labeled "effectivness" I am just wondering if the resists that are in the "special Protection" are weighed differently in combat, and if they are does it pass to the BE clones.
another possibilitywould bethat it's just the way SOE did things to make it easier for them to change stats on the higher level creatures of the same species (ie a graul and a Frenzied graul can have different resists in the "special protection" box but resists in the Effectivness box are common basetraits to all creatures of that species)
I was able to make a CL 49 Durni with light armor, so it seems that armor is passing to the clones and that there is no "upper limit" to the skins. I am still unable to test lower limits of the more difficult clones since I am only aBE with1-1-4-4 currently.
add the singing mountain clan rancor ( I think that's what it was) to the list of creatures with the "unknown attack" for special attack 1. I have not had a unknown attack pass to a clone yet, but there could be a CL limit on them, like the armor,to prevent a CL 10 pet with a super special. I have only been making up to CL 30 clones untill the rancor bunny
It looks like 30% of the resists will be lost when using "above average" DNA samples (I am not sure if BE's always had this loss) the Durni mentioned above suffered this loss, but I wasn't going to argue with the rancor about it's DNA quality.
I was able to make 1 clone that took special 1 from the Psycology slot and special 2 from the aggression slot. the end result was a clone that had crippling strike for both specials. Is this the way it should happen? orshould both specials come off of the aggresion sample?
