Tier 2 is entirely mission driven I think, or was that Tier 3 ?

Yeah, Storm Squadron is a bear. And not the friendly kind, either. More like the kind that chews your face off. Definately not my recomendation for a first time pilot.

To drop your pilot profession, you need to talk to a coordinator. Luckily for you, he's easy to find. There's one right out in front of the Bestine capital building. Guess they knew what people thought about SS, huh? Once you've resigned (he'll ask you if you want to resign three times just to be sure), you can go to another location and start flying for them. If you want to stay on as an Imperial, I strongly recomend the Inquisition out of Kaadaara, Naboo. It has some of the best quotes in the game. Good luck.

I almost did that last night, but the coordinator said I'd lose all my skills so I got spooked. I figured it was gonna make me start all over.

It will. The only way to change squadrons is to surrender all of your skills.

Yup. It's not that bad, though. Storm Squadron gets a lot tougher from there.

Sorry for all the noob questions, but I yam what I yam. Anyway, once I drop and lose these skills to go to another squadron, I can no longer use the ship im using? Do I have to go back to beginner ship? I currently fly a tie in. The box 2 one.

That is hysterical! I am looking forward to this tonight. I decided on SS for my third squad, and working up my first tier 1 box now.

To the original post-er: rumor has it that you will be able to fly but not manage that ship if you refund your skills, but I have never tried it myself.

Only your NPC trainer can train you.

It doesn't really matter if you have enough xp to train a box if you're having trouble with a mission. You need to complete the mission in order to get your next box trained.
