Ya, the blood is specific to the Janta tribe. They also drop hides which will make your armor smith friends happy as they add 3% to the base effectiveness of the piece of armor. Like the bloods, they are serial numbered, identical components.

I have looted more blood off of mission and wild spawning Janta than in the cave. Random and Rare this blood is.

For those of you curious about janta blood buffsI just made a set and it came out with 17 uses at 960 power 13500 duration. Im not sure of the exact stats of my resources but it was all over 800 OQ, PE, DR for the avian and the reactive and I also used very good components. As for finding the blood I looted most of my blood from the random janta spawns around Dant vs the Janta stronghold. I've only looted 1 set from the cave vs 7 from janta spawns.

well my normal enhance packs hover around 944power/22ish usesand with the blood I get (with all great success' mind you) about 1023 power and 18ish uses ... couple of failures yielded my lowest janta blood pack which was 972 (using bespin port ... heh)... duration doesn't change ...

Oh for the love of God!

Went to make a buff pack, realised I didn't have any reactive gas, quit out and;

"Your component Janta Blood was lost due to your inventory being full"

I am starting to get really pissed off with this bloody game.

Its a random loot off Janta NPC's on Dantooine, it replaces the advanced biological effect controller, and you need 16 for a full set.

3 x matching serials (health)

2 sets of 2 x matching serials (action/constitution)

3 sets of 3 x matching serials (the others)

It is by no means easy to get, so good luck.

Also, I believe most docs other than myself just use janta in health/action packs and use normal stuff on the subs.

depends, normally only on action constitution for even pairs of janta, but sometimes if I have just the one, I'll use it up somewhere else

I just looted Janta Blood. Power 107, Charges 11. Being a master doc what exactly does this mean to me? I know its used by Docsbut how exactly?

You use it in place of subcomponents on Buff packs. Correct me if I wrong but it's for the Biological Effect Controllers. So basically you'll get a lot more power than you would normally get from normal BEC's.

Thats cool, but do BEC's really make that big of a difference. I was always under the impression that Avian meat and Reactive Gas were basically all that mattered (except on Action buffs). So does this Janta Blood really help much?

Well typically you'll get no more than 15 or so power from a BEC since most people experiment for charges or a mix of charges and power. With these you'll get over 90 more power tacked onto your buffs so if you're looking to get over that magical 1000 buff then these will be what you'll have to use to get there.

I've also read about, but sadly never possessed, the 200 + power and 20+ charge variety of janta blood. This clearly will provide you with great buffs since you'll get basically an extra 200 power without the sacrifice to charges.

Since I just saw an action where 4 units of Janta Blood with the same serial were selling for 500K I assume they must help. My question now is how big a difference do the subcomponents actually make? Is there an online formula or something close anyone knows about?
