I corrected a few typos in both my initial and final analysis posts back on page two. These were just goofs in data-entry, my numbers on paper were correct.

(I let the initial mistakes in calculations stand as I printed a correction in the second.)

I thought I had read some where that if a resource was missing a stat, then the OQ was used as a substitute.

This would be the case with using wood.

Not to throw a wrench in the works but how does this affect your formula?

And NancyJ would it be possible to verify this with the dev team? I have an armorsmith buddy that swears by it.

OQ is not used as a substitue the average is just figured out without that stat. So you average the floral food and creature food for PE and FL while the OQ averages all three. So it's really only benificial when you have a high PE/FL in your meat and a so so OQ if your PE/FL is so so you are normally better off using the same floral food twice to bring those up more.

I did two tests on a Tensile Resistance tissue today.

TR tissue 1: OQ /PE / FL
Meat (20) - 74 / 599 / 728
Flora(10) - 778 / 572 / 575
Bone (25) - 389 / -- / --
Hide (25) - 281 / -- / --

Averaged and Weighted Quality:
33/33/33 - 530
50/30/20 - 475

Fully Experimented: 47%

TR tissue 2: OQ /PE / FL
Meat (20) - 907 / 953 / 421
Flora(10) - 978 / 978 / 108
Bone (25) - 389 / -- / --
Hide (25) - 281 / -- / --

Averaged and Weighted Quality:
33/33/33 - 612
50/30/20 - 631

Fully Experimented: 63%

Tensile Resistance tissues follow the 50/30/20 trend I found for my BSN tests (see page 2 of this thread). So far it has been spot on for all nutrients I have made, and I will go out on a limb to say this is the true formula for all of our tissues, Chef or Tailor.

One interesting aspect of tailor tissues, probably a bug, is that their percentage does not necessarily follow their stats.

I experimented one point at a time, using all 10 points, on the second tissue. All were great successes unless otherwise listed. Melee defense is the first bonus, stun the second.

15% +2/5
12% +2/6 (success)
19% +2/7
26% +2/7
25% +2/9 (fail)
33% +2/9
40% +3/10
47% +3/11
55% +3/12
61% +3/13
63% +3/13

Assuming the base tissue is +2/3, then the experiment bonus is 0-17.

If that is true, then the normal success at 12%, and the next experiment point at 19% are too high. The bonus quite clearly jumps even though the percentage goes down.

The same trend is visible at the failure at 25% where the bonus jumps 2 points! The 33% and 40% following it are slightly higher than they should be as well, with the rest evening out.
