Thread: Grinding is taking FOREVER. What is the best item to craft for BE XP?

The macro opens to the correct schematic, you double-click the ingredients, it closes the tool and says, "Crafting session has ended". That's usually a succesful combine. If the counter is running down it worked.

i used it this morning too..works fine. i wish i could add more lines to macro..if i could use 8 tools i'd cut off 2 seconds per item..make alittle more, but im happy with 6. ! thing i wish was in the game is a MP3 Player...it boring walking around and stuff with no music..cept for the occassional swg music while in wilderness...and i dont wanna run winamp in background..cause when i ALT-TAB i dont have amouse cursor..weird.

I've been using five crafting tools. By the time I've finished with the fifth, the first is ready to go.

I've been grinding Micronutrient Supplements. 50 resources required, hence 100 xp. In practice mode, this is 105 xp with the 5% practice bonus.

The nice thing about Micronutrient Supplements is that they only require 15 meat (any type). The other 35 resources can come from any organic (20 units) and from floral food (15 units). I plopped down a number of micro flora farms, and used junk floral for both the organic and floral food spots. This left the 15 units of require meat.

I put out a call to my guild asking for assistance collecting junk meat. One of our guild members "solos" Dathomir (I quote "solos" because I still take issue with referring to two graulers as solo).

Anyway, he frequently gave me chunks of meat in the thousands. Grinding is boring as all hell, but after 2.5 weeks, I'm only 30K XP from Master.

For my Sampling XP, I abandoned the whimpy planets in favor of Dathomir. The 80K XP required for Sampling IV was going to take forever, so I sampled brackasts and kamuriths. Kamurith defilers give you 594 XP per DNA sample! Sweet. I tried sampling rancors, but couldn't do it until I'd finally finished Sampling IV. Once there, I went to the mutant rancor cave and took a whole slew of samples before they finally killed me. Note that rancor youths don't deliver deathblows, so they're a good choice for sampling.

Anyway, that's how I ground my way. Floral harvesters for the non-meat resources in a Micronutrient Supplement, and a combination of my own hunting and junk meat donations from guild mates. Be sure to mention that anybody grinding Scouting XP needs to harvest anyway, so they may as well harvest meat.

Got to disagree with ya there, Muff. Scent Camo is superior for grinding, as we've shown in this thread. Faster exp and very close to micronut in meat efficiency. That would be a good thing to include in your website. I like your use of screenshots, BTW.

Scent camo is in Tissue Engineering II though... I guess it would be good to switch.. but...

Scent Camouflage require;

25 Flowers
20 Flora Structural
20 Creature Food

Micronutrient Supplement require;

20 Organic
15 Flora Food
15 Creature Food

I think I would stick with Micronutrient Supplements instead of hunting for flowers and wood.

ya i agree...micro supplement is better...2 resources..one very easy to obtain..in 3 days i've gotten 80k flora food..and in that time hunting on dath i've gotten 40k meat. 10k per night..i figure 1500meat per 10Kxp and 3500food per 10Kxp i figured to get BIO ENG TECH IV i need 60k food 25,000meat....which i did in 4 days...now i can do 11k XP in 15mins ,only cause i cant stand sitting and clickin for endless periods which is alot more bearable with macro than manual. So in total almost 4 hours endless grinding for 1 Tier. Has anyone run into this problem...while grinding..everything is going good..all of a sudden the wrong schematic pops up..over and over...for some reason the schematic # changes ...mine is usually #31 but changes to #36 for no reason..then after 5mins using #36 it goes back to #31..it pisses me off.

Whenever this happens to me its because a person has a draid with a crafting station out nearby. The schematic number is based on the position of the item in you datapad. However the number depends on what your crafting tool can make. When you are near a crafting station you can make more items so the schematic numbers will change.

An easy way to determine the schematic number for an item is to use your datapad and count the items your tool can make untill you reach the one you want to make. Remember to start at 0 not 1 btw.
