Yes, I did the Captian's quest before I used my free unlocks. I had already converted everything I could, just had not trained yet.

OK you where probly wrong in remembering what you selected for your freebies, My guess is you actually picked Ranged Speed as a freeone not Ranged accuracy. And youve said you did the quest that unlocks ranged accuracy. So thats why your can train in both.

While that would solve the issue, I am only half way done with Ranged Speed, and if my memory does serve me correct, you get all the fs xp needed for the freebie. So that would enable me to learn all 4 boxes at one time, and I am currently working on box 3. I learned all of Ranged Accuracy at once along with Melee, Speed and Melee Accuracy, and am currently plugging away at Ranged Speed.

Maybe I am getting to learn it since I took a freebie that was a phase one unlock, and they took pity on me, but I seriously doubt that is the issue.

I am just as puzzled as the rest.

I have looked around on the forums for a post about training and couldnt find any. I have just become a Padawan the other day and am grinding to get novice lightsaber. My question is, where do we go to get trained?

Is there a way to get trained without doing it through the NPC your working for at the time? I'm currently doing the first Tier3 mission and I've got 200k capped already but can't get trained and now can't seem to beat that mission so I'm losing all this xp. Anyone know a solution?

I'm in the same boat. I'm having trouble with a tier 3 mission so I say, "Hey, I'll just level up to a better ship". Wrong!

Anyway around this?

Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way around it. I think you have to complete the mission to continue training. I must have lost over 200K XP because I've been capped and can't pass this idiotic mission.

Hmm... Little problem with that. You don't always end up in the same 'instance' of space. You can still chat but you won't be able to see the other members in your group.
