I saw in the patch notes that Jedi are no longer capable of doing the "Force Missions" on dantooine. Is this part of some stealth patch as a first steo to initiate the new jedi system or should we keep grinding.
Furthermore has anyone unlocked since this morning's patch?

I imagine they are laying the ground work for the new system.
BUT, we are a LONG way from seeing any type of implementation.
All they "may" be doing is cleaning some code in preparation.
The new system will need testing, which may start on in-house servers within a cpl months (they're STILL in the "concept" phase). After that, the TC will get a run at it... etc. etc.
I say you have at least until summer to grind.
Just my opinion tho.

interesting verbage on this change
"...players who are already Jedi..."
to me, "already" is not needed, and implies these quests are part of the new unlock system.

I am at work, and am unable to see the patch notes, if the patch is for Live, then they are limiting jedi participation in game content, I would be more concerned as to why they are limiting it, as the jedi revamp is still in concept, they probably could not begin to implement it, considering the system doesn't exist yet. If it is in testing, it would be interesting to discover why that change again would occur. My bet is that they did not want jedi to get the holos as loot.

we got 2 months to go i wouldnt say its a long way

how do you know it doesnt exist? you a dev by chance?

I dont understand why they'd not want us to get the holocron. I did the 'Jedi' missions with my Jedi and I received the holocron. Its not tradeable, and when you use it, it just tells you to continue on your path. I cant make any sense out of why they'd not let any more Jedi do the quest.

Sounds like a prep for the new system. It would be a good place to get the system going seeing as almost anyone who is interested in Jedi has been there and they represent light and dark sides.
