I don't have many pressing issues with Dancer - and many people before have posted far more eloquently than I could on those issues that do concern me. However, being a male dancer, I'd perhaps like to see some male-specific enhancements to the profession. Two suggestions could be more male dancer-specific clothing (although some cool outfits can be made if you shop hard enough!), and perhaps a male-specific dance or two. I enjoy dancing the exotic dances, but the flourishes do seem a little geared toward female performers - perhaps if a flourish or two that suited the male dancer were added, this would be great!
On another note I do want a "/startdance JustinTimberlake" command adding pls, to increase the tips from female customers ...
Many thanks Tiggs for stopping by to ask!

Hello Tiggs and Thanks for checking in on us CH's
Here is my personnel list based on my experiences.....
1) Balance - like has been said in many above mentioned replies.....when my CL50 pet goes down in 3 hits to a Tera Kasi Master something is not right
2) Specials - I have a 'Rare' CL56 Merek Deaths Head with Strong Poison and Strong Disease as its specials and neither of them work....so this means it is basically useless to an otherwise potentially cool pet.
3) Storage - Since pets are the lifeblood of us CH's, especially the Masters whom have invested all those skill points, 22 pets in our storage pad is just not enough. I dont see any other class being limited in the number of guns, swords, crafting tools, etc they have in their datapads and they even have the option of storing these things in droids, their houses and the bank. Now granted I dont think it would be practical for it to be unlimited, I think I nice round figure like 50 would be a start and not 22....where did 22 com from and whats is significance.
Yes I did list more than 1 issue be we do unfortunately have many, sorry for the long list but it is true.
As far and the number 1 issue I would have to go with balance....we were balanced the end of last year as part of the supossed combat revamp and no other class has been addressed.
Thanks For Your Time

(sry for my bad english)
I think that carabineer is a very interesting profession, with all specials attacks.
But the major problems i see is the "Dabbling".
At Master carabineer, we have pratically no defenses, in melee, ranged, and Vs States, and a poor speed and medium accuracy.
For beeing correctly in PvP, we need to :
-Dabble with BH carabine (expensive costs in skills points)
-Dabble with another profession to get some defenses. (pistoleer for Defs Vs Stats, or Fencer for ranged and melee)
CounterAttack is great, but is efficiencly is lesser than dodge, so with poor defenses, we cannot stay a long time on battlefields :/
Last point, redondances between carabines...we have a lot of carabines wich energy damage type, and with no AP.
I think we need a "striker" Carabine (like a shotgun) with kinetic damage, and a carabine with cold Damage and good AP.
Stun Carabine...i don't want one

I personally feel that CH needs the following
1) Stables/Farm/Zoo type structures to store more pets, for storage and showing them off to other ppl. maby have it set so only and max lev of pets can be stored in it (ie say 150lev so you can have 3 lev 50 pets or more smaller level). but you have to goto the stable to swap pets from there to datapad.
2) more high level creatures to tame (above 70). with more mountable pets.
3) Jedi being able to take the controll of OUR pets away from us.
4) Make all creatures under Lev70 tamable, weather their baby or not.

What I would really like to see is once...just once...one of these feedback threads turn into something concrete. We've been giving you folks feedback for the past year and a half and every time it seems to end up on a shelf somewhere. You never respond, you never improve our profession. The one time you did respond with a change, you gave with one hand (buffs) and then took with the other (the ability to give em while AFK). In the end, this profession is far worse off now than when the game shipped, and I can't think of a single other profession which has declined in this way (except musician, in the same boat we are).
You guys have done a terrible job talking and working with us and our correspondents. Absolutely terrible. I'm hoping you can be a new voice of reason, Tiggs, but after a year and a half, I haven't got much faith left in me.

Hello Tiggs,
Thank you so much for showing interest in out problems.
My main issues, in no particular order, would be:
AFK - I have seen it slowly run other games to grown and it’s seriously affecting this game already.
True, atm the mostly wounded by it are all entertainer professions, but as any disease it’s starting to spread to others.
Give it another year without addressing the problem and you may as well rename the game to SWG-The Empire AFK.
Broken and unfinished Dances.
In all honestly I don’t understand how in the world were they even put in the game in this shape to begin with. Formal and Lyrical make us look as fools.
It’s a shame too, because Lyrical2 would most likely be my favored dance had it not been broken.
All dances should logically have 8 distinct flourishes. Please, give them to us.
Please do not make us “re-spec” our characters in order to be useful and appreciated by community as a whole.
But instead give us more content which would actually include us in the SWG world.
Missions - the fact that Master Dancer mission pay out won’t even cover the price of a shuttle ticket is a joke.
Buff application truly needs to be changed/refined, the fail rate due to many times unknown factors is way to high.
Group command for /changedance while /bandflowing would be an awesome addition.
And of course... *Drum-roll*... more clothing, clothing which would be wearable only by entertainers, exotic, beautiful and unique.

Hi Tiggs!
Glad ya finally bounced on over here
One thing off the top of my head is with the HAR. Heavey Acid RIFLE. Since it is a rifle, I think it should work more like a rifle. Have the specials
work at longer range and have range modifers more like a rifle.
Just a thought of mine, take care

I don't have to read any of the replies you have received so far in this thread.
Unattended game play, unfinished dances and buffing problems just to name the first three that pop into my head, I'm confident they have already been mentioned many times. The biggest problem is that these have been mentioned countless times in the past.
If I had to pick one that I wish more than anything you all would fix as soon as possible, it would be the buffbots. There has to be a way to disable this ability and get the player community back into getting buffs in the manner in which they get the rest of their stat buffs. Unless I'm totally out of it, I've not seen a DocBot.
I was on Bria last night and there was a player who so very much wanted and needed healing xp, but yet every cantina she went too, a buff bot was working and every player was walking past her and using the bot. She was upset and there was no one in the entertainment channel or around her who did not have sympathy for her and know fully the frustration of attempting to entertain in the presence of a buffbot.

Okay it seems like most of those here are honest and "pure" dancers who really are playing their dancer as entertainer, which I suppose is "right" way to play the profession.
I wouldn't rock the boat so I'll chim in and say I agree with most of them especially when it comes to getting rid of AFK dancers.
But that isn't my biggest issue with Dancer.
I am Master Dancer/ Master Swordswoman.
I been Master Dancer/ Master Swordswoman for a longest time since I though they would be most useful. Notice I said USEFUL.
Yes, I do use my Dancer as utilitarian profession instead of entertainer so I guess you can call me a fake but I don't really care. I think you get respect when you show yourself to be useful and productive(as in help others in what they are doing) instead of just demand respect for doing something that is difficult.
Here are things that annoy me the most and I feel make Dancer less useful.
1) The biggest by far is the Dancer's Inability to self buff. There are LOT of Dancers/Musician that are also Combat Profession. Why shouldn't we be able to benifit from our own skill?
2) Inability to heal Wound inside Dungeon - We have entertainer Droid. Why shouldn't we be able to heal wound or even buff like healers can?
3) Inability to heal BF - Why can't we heal BF in camp? I can heal BF in hundreds of any ol house littering the landscape, but I step outside 1m and all of sudden I can't heal the BF? Don't make sense at all
4) Portable/Sellable items - I understand you shouldn't be able to buff someone unless Dancer are at Cantina/House/Camp. It makes sense. But why not let us sell something that can Re-Buff? Let Dancers "produce" a Holo-Disk that is usable to re-buff a Dancer Buff. Let DE craft blanks and let Dancer "record" into it.
Well I know this would make Dancers less entertainer in many player's eye, but I rather have other players associate Dancer with useful skill they provide and be one of valuable members of their group than just some "Artsy-fartsy" performer who hang around the cantina and scream "respect me! validate me!"

Tiggs you can't honestly say you have already read the issues that are important to dancers if you are asking this question.
Seeing as how you haven't replied again and seeing as how this has the look of form letter I'm going to say, "meep."
Thanks.
