Yea, the magwax are the fastest way to harvest domesticated meat.

Mawgaxes on Yavin4 is the way to go. They have missions on the terminals and you shouldn't have too much of a problem if you are in an elite combant profession. I have a 3-2-1-2 Rifleman/ 2-2-2-2 Ch and I can kill them, it is a bit hard and a bit slow but it is possible. I suggest bring a friend or 2.

Yea it is relatively slow on Yavin but better than anywhere else. With hunting 4 I was getting 50-90 per harvest. Actually decent quantities but that is about an hour to get 5-6k meat. That is a decent harvest for meat, but when I am interested in 100k+ harvesting my own just won't cut it.

make contracts, but GL on finding people who will do this for "low cpu" (compared to the +100 cpu in shift contracts docs and armor smiths paying on Eclipse atm)

The question is, can you pay the Rangers more than doctors are paying for their Avian meat? Especially since hunting Mawgax gets boring and it isn't like they can go hunt something else for it. And if the Yavinian Domesticated meat is no good, tough.

I think humbabas on Talus and Corellia drop this kind of meat...they're easy to find and not too hard to kill either

I always use www.swgcreatures.com with the "advanced search" to determine which creatures on a particular planet drop a certain type of meat / hide.
