This just occurred to me - forgive if this has already been identified as an issue.


The following template is available now quite easily:


MChef, MArtisan, BE0404,Tailor0010, Nov Merchant (and Medic0004/Scout0040 as prereqs).


Chefs just potentially became self sufficient since BE0404 is all they need for fully experimented tissues. This is somewhat alarming to me since I've made a reasonable income from the sale of the tissues needed by chefs, and I can see myself being cut out of the loop here. I'm sure the chefs wont cry about it. Anyone else have an opinion on this tissue-issue? Master level chef, artisan AND bio-engineer items from one char with no interdependencies, and the skills to survey resources, harvest critters, and market goods yourself. Heck! I may just consider changing to this template!

I don't make tissues for chefs now that I have dropped my lamely played chef-alt that was driving me insane, but I do believe intelligent nano-thingies are available at master BE still - not tissues 4 - might this be a small consolation?


On the other hand, doctors and CM's will easily be able to pick up that one branch of BEthat they need which is very nice for them, plus if they keep the things the way they are recipewise, those doctors and CM's will be able to throw together kaadus and other cute pets with small dna ...(I make no comments on this).


I see in the BE tree (control-S) that there are BE-made enhancers to some of the doctor/CM skills which we do not know what they do.


I ground up to Organic Chem 4 on TC5 last night.This is what you get plus all the recipes you get at that level when you are standing next to a public crafting station:


Organic Chem I: BEC, LS, med assem +10, med exp +10
Organic Chem II: dispersal mech, solid deliv shell, ass +10, exp +10
Organic Chem III: chem release mech, infection amplifier, stim B, ass +10, exp +10
Organic Chem IV: adv BEC, adv LS, Resilience Compound, ass +10, exp +10


recipes (subject to change of course):


Infection Amplifier: 14reactive gas + 14aluminum ("this infection amplifier increases the effect of chemical attacks")
resilience compound: 12 reactive gas + 12 radioactive ("this resilience compound creates an active resistance to certain maladies")


advanced BEC: 18 lokian wild wheat + 18 tatooinian fiberplast (66/33)
advanced LS: 6 dantooine berry fruit + 6 talusian water vapor (66/33)
BEC: 6 organic + 6 inorganic
LS: 6 organic + 6 water
Chem Release Duration Mech: 8 organic + 8 chemical
Dispersal Mechanism: 12 liquid petrochem fuel + 12 inert petrochemical
solid delivery shell: 8 organic + 8 metal

instant stim A: 12 organic + 12 inorganic + 1 LS (opt) + 1 BEC (opt)
instant stim B: 15floral + 15 chemical + 1 LS + 1 Chem Release + 2 identical (factory) BEC

it looks like they did what I feared they would and just dumped everything into the BE profession, then made the other professions less dependent on them... and I haven't even heard of new pet skins as a consolation...

oh well... guess I wont be going back to BE like i planned.
