42.xx seems to be the best around for stations, 14 for crafting kits. Not positive but having higher ratings seems to reduce the critical failure rate somewhat. unfortunatly the crit fail rate is much more dependant on extranius factors such as lag and the phases of the moon, so having a very high kit may not be a cure all. In general, get the best you can but don't expect for spectacular crit fail reductions.

Do the bonuses on crafting stations and tools actually work? I read a while ago that they didn't do anything, was that wrong or has it been fixed? Thanks.

The going theory is that higher numbers reduce the rate of critical fails.

this is true if you have a crafting station above 40% aka a "Masters Edition" and craft at it for a wile.... then go to a -14% crafting station aka "crappy one" there is a hugediff in critical falures i have a 43% in my house and i love that thing

Can we place crafting stations within the city? As far as I can discern from its lack of mention anywherewe can't, so I'llhave touse the right-hand room in the City Hall for the cities crafting place.

If we can't, then quite predictably, I suggest that we get that changed. It'd be something to flesh out one of our skillboxes.
