Thanks for the advice. I think I'll dig my old Saitek X-45 out of the attic and give it a whorl.

No master jedi at the moment, pre cu it was next to impossible to obtain through straight pvp, so some people figured out how to Fight Club to work around the system. In the old system, depending on your template, Master Jedi were very tough. Pre Publish 9 the highest we could get was 4/4/4/4 guardian as the development team never activated the app points we needed to get master. 4/4/4/4 guardian were very tough.

Full template padawan as the devs deactivated the frs. Those if us that were Knights pre cu still have our force progression box and titles, but can't wear the Knight robes

Techonally post CU is Full templet Padawan because the FRS is disabled. Reason you see Jedi Knight titles is because old JKs still have theirs on before the FRS was taken off.

If a player just finished the Padawan trials, has gained the Force bar and the Jedi Padawan Force Progression box, but doesn't have any novice or better skills in any of the disciplines is a Padawan, then the people who have the Jedi Knight Force progression box are still Knights now, even without the FRS.
On the other hand, if someone who has the Jedi Knight Force Progression box, but doesn't have any FRS skills is not a Knight, then someone who just completed the Padawan trials and obtained the Padawan Force progression box is actually not a Padawan.
Which is it?
Force Progression determines your Jedi progression, that is why it is called progression. As long as you have the box from the progression tree and can freely select the title, then that is what you are.

On a follow point, you could argue that currently, people who claim to be Jedi Knights can't wear the Knight robes, so therefore are not Knights.
The robe you got when completing the Knight trials actually isn't a JEdi Knight robe. Its a Rank 0 FRS robe and the reason you can't wear it is because you need rank 0, not Jedi Knight to wear it. So with the FRS switched off, you can't equip your Rank 0 robe, which is correct, because you are no longer a Rank 0 Jedi Knight - you are just a plain Jedi Knight as per the Force Progression tree.
