They always do things to the extreame at first.. so what they did was just unload on your profession then they will take a few things away at a time. Look at CH.. it started out with no holds bar and dwinddled down to what it is now full of broken specails and lower pets.

CH was brought down to the new combat system before anyone else so it is obviously going to be at a disatvantage untill the others are balanced. I can asure you BE crafting systemis screaming to be brought down as well. No CL10 pet should have armor at all (according to Devs anything below 40 should not have armor in the wild) it could be a different rule for non-wild pets.. but i doubt they want CL1-10 pets out there with 10k ham and strong poison lol.
