Nancy,
I think my two priorities are:
1) CL 10 monster fix pet vital check. We need to have some real guidelines on this.
2) DNA Sampling failure. This is horrible. When you finally get in range of a mutant rancor and to have the sampling fail 3 and 4 times in a row and then get aggroed and killed really stinks. I think that at Master BE we should not fail as often as we do if ever. My own thots.

Sky, check the HAM on the MR's the lower level HAM'ed MOB's seem to be easier than the 14k HAM ones, I haven't fully tested, but since I have started paying attention, I have noticed a difference.
Another suggestion is if I seem to be overly sampling one, I try his buddy.

It does - but it only holds one tissue - unlike the other races Wookies can never get up to the max +25 scent modifier.

One other thing,
Critical failures. What's worse is to finally get that mutant rancor, Makloc Plainswalker DNA and then have a critical failur in the making of a schematic.
Come on already, Master BE's shouldn't get three crit failures in a row either.

What I want to see are schematics to be looted from the Geo lab... ie a 1 time use to make a tameable acklay would be awesome. Something like that would make people want to use us more often and maybe keep CH's happy too. Just a thought

technically, DNA IS that device. a sample shows the full range of resists, as well as special1 and special2... but that's not really unbalancing. it'd be nigh impossible to make a decent clone if THAT were blind work.

Just something to point out about the crit fail system, Architects get their material back from a crit fail I suppose because it uses so much. Well I suggest our DNA is even more so costly because depending on where it came from we DIE for our craft. So... I suggest that sure, take the resources... by all means change only the DNA being eaten and the DNA template. That's all we wanna keep get rid of anything else on crit fail.

I agree that something should be done about the double jeopardy crit failures.
The night before last I had collected 100 VD + HP samples. I ended up with 5 pets. The worst set of crit fails I have ever had!

Oh and i'd also like to see the DNA sampling problem fixed...it's part of the reason irarely make creatures unless requested to.

Hmmm.... Alot of talk about vendors of late. I'm a BE and a CH. As a CH I can't even sell a single pet on a vendor
Sigh. So much time spent fixing and catering to Jedi that all the other classes/archetypes are eating dirt right now.I feel for ya. I really do.Anyways, I would like to see some Creature Handler vendors. You might ask why I'm posting this on a BE forum. Well..... Because I bioengineer mounts and I would like to also be able to train the mounts I make and sell them on a vendor. Even if it were something as small as 10 pets. Currently it isn't even possible to sell a single mount on a vendor. I also think BE should be able to sample higher level creatures in the wild. What? Creatures get some kind of DNA sampling immunity because they are high level? BE should be able to craft creatures that keep special attacks like plague strike. Creatures in this buffed out and cookie cutter jedi world of SWG perform poorly as it is so Creature Handlers are going to need every edge a BE can give them. BEs should also be able to grant armor heavier than light. And...... I'm still ending up with invalid pets. People are buying them and wondering whats going on. Fix bug. Fix bug. Fix bug. Also. Show the CL level on templates. This to me would be a deciding factor on what kind of creature I'm going to make. People want lev 10 and under mounts. If the template says CL 11 then I can make something else that a Novice CH might want rather than waste it making a mount that a non CH can't use.
Also. I would like to see some new pet skins introduced for BE. Some flyers would be nice.
Oh, and on the side. How bout some lightsaber resists for creatures. With the flood of of Jedi across the servers the demand for lightsaber resistant creatures should be high and profitable. Why so many lightsabers out there and nothing to deal with them? I bet someone would pay good money for a Rancor with hundred percent resist to lightsaber. Might put some fear back into them but I doubt it. They probly will get cut down just as quick by a buffed out Melee Master. Sigh. Oh, well.... Least they still look cool.
