Go to Imperial Outpost on Dantooine and find a hunting group. the missions there pay up to 25k if you have a large enough group/high level pets. I (being a bh) carried a lower level marksman through the 25k missions and we split the money. this is how I gain money if I want to.

one word GROUP even when i was novice in a good group ide get 5000+ per mission
If you can gather several realtive newbies together in a group, you can take on higher level missions. And then all of you go out and complete the missions together, you'll all get about the payoff you would if you tried them alone, but you're all more likely to come back on foot rather than via the clone express.
If you can find a more skilled player to go out with you, that helps a lot too!

Just wondering....
I'm grinding B.E. But while I'm at it, I would like earn a little bit of money and contribute to the economy a little at the same time. What's the easiest to make/most lucrative item that BE's have to sell.
Perhaps like some food additive that's reletively pain free to make in large quantities and can still turn a good buck.
Or is there anything like that for us?

A lucrative business I've found is filling a backpack up with crappy jaxes. Or a half-bag of 'em, whatever's easier on your customers. Sell these to hologrinding (or just impatient) CHes. Impatience costs, LARGE.
By crappy, I mean stuff made with the utter junk DNA you'll be getting LOTS of as a novice BE. Granted, it takes 250 samples without any critfails (another rant entirely) to make 50 of anything, takes a while to gather all that up and find a place to keep stashing it in the meantime while you gather more. A fairly good place to do this I've found is just south of Theed near the bank close to the starport. If your bankbox isn't weighed down with other stuff, you can drop the templates or completed jaxes in there while you go grab more DNA to complete the process. Much easier logistically if you just sell them as half bags (25 jaxes in a backpack makes it easier to pick up for your buyer. Easier than a full bag at least.)
Hope that gets ya started
