Have been a Master BE on my alt since December 2003. I get questions here and there but I usually rarely wear the tag. I wear my dancer tag instead.

A true BE walks around with the 'Breeder' tag up...MBE tag is asking for touble...

Or at least that used to be the case.

Its ironic that I now dont have the MBE tag anymore as im a 0404 tissue monkey for my Chef...

And to think I ground BE 2 and a 1/2 times across 3 chars...

I can't think of a single old skool BE left on my server from the forums...all the ones I used to talk to occasionally are no longer with us...PurpleWarrior, Zadokk, Halthron...(I did have a chat with Zad the other night tho as he popped online...he lied about leaving for good i guess

Lloyd, do you have any idea how much trouble one would be asking for with a female toon that has the 'breeder' tag up?

Thats why I used to use that tag over the others like...geneticist

'Buttercup Rainbowwand' was always wandering round with Breeder above her head.

Was great in cantinas when getting rid of the BF that aggro sampling always brought...all the ent females wanted the tag

Well my alt is a respec BE, so does that make me less real ? I am a part of a helper guild "Heaven" and i help ppl when i can. What is wrong with you ppl real BE.... come on. If you play a profession you are real.. respec or not. I made master bounty hunter, master carbs, master DE, master and so on and so on... on my main char. And i did not have any respec doing any of them, the respec made me try things that was a bit odd but fun. I play to have fun, and if any one ask for my help master or not, i will help if i can.

And before you start... i know my spelling is bad but you get the meaning.

I've been a Master BE onj Kett sinceMay 04, only took about one month off being a BE on my main before I ground it out on my alt toon when I unlocked, but my vendors didnt run out before I had my alt back at MBE status. BE was my first and last holocron, I liked it enough to keep it and stick with it for over a year now.

I'm a Master Bioengineer on valcyn been it for a good while now but also a master creature handler wich really helps out alot . The two professions really do mix together good .

That would make me a real BE Icreated my char to be a MBE/MCH and finished my template just before the CU took me well over a year but that is partly because work in RL makes it hard to play much. I do not get questions like you do but that may be because i do not list my char as a be but a a pilot.

Yes you are right, there's nothing wrong with anyone respeccing to Master Be, if they're keen to play the proffession and research it beforehand and actually learn how to use BE properly, what seems to be the problem with respec, and most proffessions have their people who are mad at it is this doesn't happen, so you get people asking the most basic of questions, things that you learn at novice, playing a proffession is a learning curve, as you gain skill in the proffession you pick up little tricks and tips, respeccing to master without trying to learn means you miss out on even the most basic of lessons and have to ask, i personally don't mind answering new BE's questions and sometimes even enjoy helping respec BE's learn if i'm not busy, but there have been times when i've got frustrated with someone (mainly after i've explained it for the 4th or 5th time in a row hehe), what makes people more frustrated maybe is the fact that BE changed so much with the CU that they're being asked questions from new BE's that they aren't even sure of the answer yet and they are wary of giving advice in that area.

And, yes i have been a BE since the day i started the game (mid september 2004 i think) on chimaera and i love it, even the CU changes haven't phased me much, it's just a matter of getting out there and collecting the information again, i know it's hard work, but if you are really dedicated to BE it's worth it

( btw i prefer to call respec BE's - New BE's, it's much kinder

)

I worked very hard with no macro to get chef - it cant be macroed. I did same for tailor - the long hard way. I respecced from these two professions to BE/CH. So I feel I earned the BE in a way. Anyone who has ground chef will know what I mean.

CH was one I have grinded 2 times already on 2 different servers, so I feel entitled to it again by respec.

That comment about the breeder tag made me laugh, I have a little bearded jax I have for fun comments with a friend, and when i don't want my little MBE tag, i call out my jax and use the breeder tag, fortunately I haven't gotten any problems with that tag, except for his IG fiancee....

Anyway I came back to the game in march this year and decided I wanted to be a BE, I ground out all BE without money, I had to go and ask to people to let me be around them when hunting or getting some donations, i go MBE 1 day before the CU, and I actually didn't know we would be dealing with the medical things, i didn't want to know anything about the CU, and so far, I only craft pets and tissues (well, pets only since the tissue issue ) I like being a BE, even though i *hate* crafting, I enjoyed it with BE.

And I love being lvl 17 and have to ask all the time for help to group and sample , I'm the only BE that has no Combat in my guild, and one of the two that are not BE because they respecced for the med crafting.
