Depends on your other skills...
Surely you have more to your character then just Master Combat Medic. Do you have a mastery in a Combat profession? Run Janta missions for the duration of a buffset and walk away with 1-1.5million and perhaps some nice Janta blood/adhessives/crystals (stock-pile 'color crystals' to sell to people for decorating their homes -- on Valcyn 30 garbage crystals sell for 3million in almost no time flat) that will sell for quite a bit. Or do Rancor missions for 80k a run.

Or you can do like me and beg off you guildThey have no problem keeping me well supplied as long as I keep them alive. Thats what friends are for, heck not like I ever ask for more than a couple mil anyway, chump change in this game.
That is actually one of the reasons I quit. I got tired of having to beg money of my guildies all the time. Especially since they couldn't seem to understand why I needed money... even though they charged me for their produce. The only ones that actually paid me were the BH's.
After everyone discovered buffs the situation got worse, so I went BE to make some money, then went BH and made some more money.
Right now I'm working on a pure Combat Template and will keep that untill the Combat Revamp. Should CM be desirable after the CR I'll just pick up my "leveling kit" from storage and grind back.

Personally I make my money through crafting, doc/cm doesn't leave much room for combat

A creative idea is becoming a hired gun (or hired bandaid I guess). Just find a group in your faction looking for a hired healer, I charge 500k per skill (starsider), so I am a MD/MCM so I charge 1mil per raid, and they pay it pretty often.
Not in a faction? ALL THE BETTER! That (usually) means your faction is close to 0/0 so you can easially switch between the two factions for an even wider market. Just make sure your good, not good to go out and let everyone die, end up dying as well and being blacklisted.
