Hmmmm.... your macro should be like this one.

Remember, Capitalization and spacingis VERY important.

/image <target_name>;

/imageDesignSetValue eye_color 0;

/pause 2;

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

This has to go into the F1 button on your toolbar to loop properly. Be careful of bugging yourself.

It's an interesting discussion, for and against macro's. Macro's have removed all difficulty in image designer XP, that I can agree on. But what we need is a good solution for it? Require components to image design? Add a mandatory wait of 5+ seconds between Image Designs for the designer?

I have mastered ID twice now, and both times I have used a macro. I put a pause of 5 seconds in it, so that if my target needs to say something, he/she can do so. But the macro is a great way to get experience quickly, and in a profession like this, where your experience is pretty much in the hands of your target, getting through it quickly is a plus. I've been on the receiving end of a novice ID grinding out xp, and it's not always fun. Using muon gold, even though it does have a tendency to incapacitate you (they need to fix that), is a good way to get awesome results within a set timeframe. I use hair color until i get to ID 4, then use freckles to level the rest of ID. Using the macro, a dose of muon gold, and a good mind buff, you can get up to 12k xp in ten minutes. And even being incapped isn't so bad... it gets lots of interesting comments, and by the time you're back up your downer is almost over and you don't have to deal with throwing up all over the place.

BTW, for the record, I have never done AFK macroing with ID. That frankly just strikes me as silly.

I am haveing a good time at Fort Tuskan. Tuskans carry rifles and can be KD.

/unarmedDizzy;

/unarmedKnockdown;

/unarmedhit2;

Should work on anything on 2 legs, also experiment with adding warcry, i have heard that it does improve the chanse of KD.

Look around, I might be behind you.

Alright this is my first post on this message board, and i'd hate for to sound as an elitest rant about AFK play.I'm sure that's going to be the way that it will be percieved anyways. I've done a lot of pain in the neck grinds in this game, such as Ranger Frontiering, Armorsmith, and Fencer *shudder*. And the only AFK experience i had was possibley killing a meatlump while running to the bathroom. Then i tried unarmed 1-novice TKA, and it's been the most boring thing i've ever had to do yet... But if you want a real good suggestion to grind unarmed i'll give you one.

First off. Creature handler and medic skills are a must. You wanna take on the big mobs solo for all the xp you can get.

Second off get yourself a pair of nice speed sliced vibro knucklers, granted you aren't certified to use them. But they speed up your attack while netting you about the same damage.

Third - find the good xp mobs... you want at least 1-3xp per kill picket longhorn lairs on dantooine are good. with two decent pets and and medic skills you can solo these. about 15k xp per lair but as boring as knitting socks. i fell asleep two times while doing this. Mutant/giant/any kind of baz nitch on dathomir is pretty good as well...

last and not least FOOD BUFFS... now that chef is a working profession use them wisely. I reccommend Tattoine Sunburn Drink, and hmm well there's this food that buffs your willpower/and or focus but it's a food... kinda looks like a brown glazed donut/football/egg thing and it's food. pop one of each, send in your pet(s) stand back and spam unarmedhit1. stay as far away as you can so your pets take the damagae and the mob doesn't turn on you. you're HAM will be regening faster than you can spam out specials, use unarmed hit 1 untill you get to your novice. pump all your combat xp into the precision striking boxes, and move on power strikes, then the defence mod line, then meditate.

here comes the beauty after you hit your novice... look forward to these benifts because they'll help motivate you to keep grinding. You'll be doing about 5 times the damage you where doing when you wheren't certifed with the vibro knucklers, and you're get unarmed hit2... this one is a beauty, once i got my tka novice, i started taking on much bigger game. doing about 1k per second using the same grinding tactics listed above... not more than 1-2 hours after i got my novice i was running back to the trainer cuz i hit the unarmed xp cap. Master CH/Master TKA with some medic, is just plain cake.

Aeon_Calcos,

CH skills are not required at all. The only mobs I've fought so far that I cannot kill are Krayts. I've solo'd Kimogilas, lots of force sensitive mobs, nightsisters, peko peko albatross and killed them all without CH pets. I simply use my 75% kinetic resist ubese, doctor buffs and powerboost + spice.

use /bezerk and /intimidate1, and get some vk's even though you aren't certified, the extra speed will do wonders.

The line about

/imageDesignSetValue eye_color 0;

doesnt work for me... it just sits there, doesnt give me a bad command, but doesnt do anything.

The initial command to start the image design works though, it just never gets past that first menu... you sure you didnt make a type-o yourself there?

I'm very farmilliar with macros of many types and I typed that in exactly as you have it, caps and all.
