Just sit in the cantina or bank an shout ?teaching all makrsmen an scout skills for free" an in about 3 to 8 mins youl have up to 500 apprentice points.. took me about two days to get 620 for mastermarksmen an 1 day for 620 for master scout. now the only problem is people willing to teach it for free. some do an some dont.. me i just said screw it an had the npc trainer teach me em.

If you have survey 4 and know someone else who has survey 4 and 20000 survey exp you can get 100 points having them surrender and relearn it. Not great but I used it to master Artisan on one of my characters.

Maybe this post would be better on your own server board.

I'm curious, Say for instance I'm the first person to get a FSCS. How would I go about learning skills? I've never seen a "Jedi Trainer" Does Obi-Won appear to you? (lol) your grandfather appears as a blue glowy right?? Anyone got any speculation?? Or have you seen a Jedi Trainer?

My speculation is three fold. I think any of these or more likely a combonation of them:

A) Holocrons. You will need to find Jedi Holocrons these may have the ability to train you in specific skills, or branches. If not all the skills

B) As a Force Sensative character you can sense others who are "strong" with the force. Thus you would see that some NPCs are in fact Jedi, while to "normal" characters they just apear as regular NPC's (Possibly some of the Hermits)

c) Force Ghosts, you may be visited from time to time by Force Ghosts, or you may be able to seek them out. Either way they may be able to train you.

Of course once there are Jedi characters, presumably that will be able to train you as well, and may very well need to in order to advance in Rank.

I am also thinking it MAY be possible to train yourself. After all, Luke had very limited training by other Jedi, and was able to learn most things on his own.

Wow, some nice speculation there. Right now I'm trying to find the hermit for the Symbol of Heroism on Tatooine but having no luck

One of the devs said, "The path to becoming a jedi is significantly harder than the path to opening a FSCS."

That scares me...

I'm a 4-4-2-3 Swordsman. I went to the NPC's to get all my training, which means I payed somewhere between 4000-9000 credits. Main reasonI went this route was because I couldn't find too many Swordsman trainers. Wnen I did find one, they would say to goto NPC's, or they were unable to train (their lost). Anyway I've decided if someone wants me to train them, I will charge 2000cr for any area. I think that's reasonable, especially since I've been tipping other players between 1000-2000 credits when I was going up the two handed line. I was about to catch the shuttle when someone wanted me to join their group. I declined. They tell me "I need training". I told them it will cost2000 credits. The person tells me "I need to be trained in techniques". I told the person it will cost you. Of course after that his reply was "I don't need it then". Do you guys think I'm being unreasonable charging 2000cr for any area?

App points are rapidly becoming a very valuable commodity - a lot of people are willing to pay to teach skills. By charging for training, I doubt you'll ever get enought app to make master
