Very nice!

on kauri i bring in probably 6mil a week just from a chef friend (when i keep up with demand) who needs something like 5 full runs of suppliments per week, plus a bit more every week or two from pets, crates of suppliments, and other chefs that buy stuff off my vendor when it's stocked.

I'm surprised with the notion of having less than 20mil throughout an entire guild, but i am in a larger guild with some very successful crafters. We had one player leave game and essentially drop all of his credits on the guild. no idea how much it was exactly but it created a very large fund that we call the "zelphi fund" and is used for crafters who need to borrow a bit of cash either to get them started or to get them through a large harvest or otherwise cash-stricken time. knowing that players in my guild rarely talk in k's of credits, but rather in mils, i'm 100% positive we've got over 20mil within our guild. That and when i complain of owing 15-20mil to someone in our guild i can immediately feel better as almost every time someone else will shoot back that they owe 40million+ to another guildie.

note: the TC economy is vastly different from Live server economies.

my BioE made a mil in space, then promptly blew it all on maintenance. fortunately, my merchant alt now has the responsibility for paying rent, and my BioE can take a break.

I'm not guilded (note #2: on TC, guilds are... different from Live servers. if nothing else, you can find guild-like cooperation outside of the guild structure), but I never lack for resources, equipment, or combat support.

I sell all my products for paltry sums... most of my BioE time is spent testing, roaming the wilds for DNA, and grumbling.

I have CH's in my debt, chefs and tailors who look to me for schematics (the resource game on TC is, again, different from that on Live), and a city that I actively contribute my efforts to.

my BioE doesn't make money. fortunately, I don't NEED money with the crew I run with.

similarly, my merchant/artisan doesn't make money. my doc/CM doesn't make money. if I need money, I have options:

survey missions for 60k/hour.
space.
combat.

that said, the 3-toons-per-account rules on TC allow different strategies. the economy is so fundamentally different there that it defies description. I recently hit my personal best on TC (three mil on one toon... with about 150k on the other 5). I started on the 'fin and made 5 mil early on (when that actually mattered), and when I spent a week on tempest (long ago), I pulled a mil for my efforts. now? that kind of cash is chump change.

we're seeing the ultimate in PvP unleashed... the battle of economy.

Funny that most of us are talking in tens of millions while other professions are talking in hundreds of millions. You can easily become a millionaire from BE but you will never be the richest person on your server.

If you're driven by credits you're in the wrong profession. BE is geared toward people who do not measure their fun by the amount of money they have in the bank.

Let's see... I think the most money I've ever made from BE (or, for that matter, en toto) has been about 750k. Of course, I'm also the "casual" player, so I don't often spend more than 3-4 hours ata time logged in. My connections are pretty decent, but I don't have any solid chef leads. I have an art "museum" that I maintain through generous guildies (of course, if I get a schematic to them for primo tissues using the meat I tell them to go hunt so they can produce it in their factories, after giving them all mounts and performing various other services, they usually drop some nice stuff on me); assets inside are probably (not counting the created art or design) on the order of another 250-300k. Resource assets I have held (for a long time now, some things that haven't been back in a year) probably add up to another ... Estimate about 1mil. I think my net worth, without current inventory, is something like 1mil 250k. But that's assuming I can liquidate all my assets at reasonable Kettemoor market prices. If Frogmorton is around, I wouldn't mind comparing pricing with him to see how badly I fare in my pricing schemes =)

I think the most I've ever made from BE tissues and the like will be this coming week or so... I've got 7 pets stewing in my data pad, fully trained mounts, that I can offload for (evidently) upwards of 150k. (Yes, they're *those* kindof pets. But I have expensive tastes, and have three houses. A lizard's gotta eat.) Prior, I made that 750k mark.

Edit: I should note that "en toto" is Latin. Just in case it means something very different to some people. =)

Gypsia d'Catman - Tough Chick with a Flamethrower
Catman Dewback - Famed Trando ex-band leader of the Wookettes
Felis Con'Colori - Bothan Spy back before there was a "Spy"
Larrana Darkewave - A Silent Dancer

All dead as of 11/30/05. We tried. Gysia's flamethrower blew up. Catman was arrested for trumped up charges of slavery. Felis grew cold in the grip of Darth SOE. Larrana finally swallowed her NDA and choked.
Hail, Hail the NGE! SWG is dead! All praise the NGE!
