do you still have to holo grind to become a jedi or can you do the quest if it comes out with this patch?

I also posted something else but for some reason it didn't post. I see players runnig around in the jedi robes with titles like fencer, swordsman, etc. Can jedi have these titles or can you kill a dead jedi and take his stuff?
