Smuggler....its not really a combat profession perse, but it'll give you some basic pistolability, and with the dirty fighting tree you get somedecent specials (ranged KD) that will help you get away from creatures, not to mention feign death, which I'd imagine is invaluable when you get aggied sampling. Just /peace, sample, and ifit aggies /feign and stand up and try again =)

My character on Bria was Smuggler(0010)/BE(2043). Feign Death won't work because it keeps you in combat with the critter. Perhaps it clears aggro better as you go up some tree?
