Thread: its a safe bet clones not going live this big patch
I think we will all be so busy making mounts for CHs or for ourselves to train (for those of you BE/CH) that it might be best that the clone changes come later. I had heard we wouldn't be getting the big clone overhaul until the mid December publish, I am looking forward to it but am making the best with what we have available now.

I remember the Dev saying he "just missed" the deadline for the last patch and would get it in the next patch. I may have to try and dig that post up again.
I'll dig it up for you. It's been in my bookmarks for a very long time. It had been the last communication we had with the devs until Thunderheart jumped in last week and assigned a new correspondant.

First, the bad news, it doesn’t look like everything is going to make this next big update as originally stated. The enhanced creature crafting stuff is taking longer than originally expected and will most likely not make it. Here’s the stuff that will be included in the update and I strongly recommend everyone check it out as soon as it goes up to Test Center and give feedback here.
As for the bol question, I have heard that BE bols are once again tamable on TC. I have seen people riding bols on test center, so I tend to believe the reports that BE bols are tamable. Unfortunately, I am not a BE on test center, so I cannot confirm this with first hand experience.

My second update to the BE forums explained that the cloning changes will not make this publish as I had originally hoped but the tissue and DNA changes would. I'd like to clarify for a moment that this stuff is done and is already part of the publish it's just a matter of time before you see it on TC. I'd think everyone agrees that they'd rather wait a little bit for the bugs to be resolved instead of a buggy patch getting pushed out quickly to Live.
