HEHEHE don't tell me CMs are putting this stuff in their stimpacks. You guys can heal just as good as we can with your range/area heals. It's best used in "buff" packs, it would be a shame to see them in stims

I run janta missions. I'm not a doctor so the only other thing I can do is sell them. I can actually USE the loot that I get so why not.

oops forgot to post my question.

Ok i have multiple accounts and have over time collected a large amount of janta bloods.

Now as one of my accounts is a master doc i know that Janta blood can be used as a advBec,but advBec's are ussed to increase charges of the buff pack right? And a basic janta blood say 10 charge 100 power isnt that good because you dont get very many charges?

And it takes 2 janta bloods correct?

Reason i ask is maybe 2 weeks ago i looted 2 13 charge 245 power janta bloods which means what i can make 1 buff pack out of the 2 janta bloods?

Which really makes the janta blood useless cuzz i only got 2 of them?

And is it worth it to use janta blood in place of AdvBec's? i have a ton of the lesser ones and have never used them to make buff packs before,so is sacrificing the charges for the power from the blood worth it?

Thanks for any and all help

First question to ask yourself....

What else would you really use them for? Stim b's? for an extra 200+ (using the13 charge 245) or +100(10/100)points of base heal. Not worth it I am sure unless your alt PvP's with novice medic. Cure packs, again not worth it unless you PvP with an alt who is almost master doc and needs to use the lesser cure packs......so that leaves buff packs.

Using them in buffs packs should yeild the same type of results with the +200 or +100 added to the base of the buff. Your charges will be in the 18-20ish range, but if your base buffs before using Janta bloodis around 900, your +100 will give you 1000 base buffs. Which comes in handy for PvP'ing, nightsisters, the DWB, and other high end mobs. IfI have 2 in a serial number set, I use those on Action or Constitution, because as for now, those 2 buff packs only require 2 in the schematic.

Good luck to ya.

I would definitely use them in your buff packs. If you only have 2 with the same serial numbers, then you can only use them to craft action and constitution buff packs.

The Janta blood I have seen typically has a comparable number of charges to what a master doctor can craft. Thus, I don't think you're going to see an increase in charges. However, Janta blood has, at the least, three times the power of the ABECs that a master doctor can craft. This results in buff packs with greater power.

Some advice:

1) Always craft "Janta packs" usinga highly rated crafting tool and station. Take Pyrocake and Bespin Port to increase your chance to succeed in assembly and experimentation.

2) Save your "Janta packs" for those special occassions, like PvP. If you buff people as a service, definitely charge more (a lot more).

It replaces the advanced biological effect controller (aBEC). It can also replace the non-advanced version as well (which is where they will be most useful I guess).

The problem with them is that the new aBECs can go up to 70 power (as I recall). Base janta blood has 100 power, so you are looking at 30 additional points on your stim Ds (only product that uses aBECs). However, their advantage over non-advanced BECs is much more significant. If you are able to sell stim C, B, and A then you may have a use for these. I doubt they will still fetch the 20k per jar that they did pre-CU though (when they could be used in high-end buffpacks)...

I know it's used in crafting meds. But what is it used for exactly? Does it replace some other component?

Thanks

Not true sorry, Janta blood can ONLY be used to replace ADVANCED bio effect controllers. Simply wont accept it in place of non advanced. So basically it's only of use in Stim D's and I can't really see people paying the extra cost of Janta blood to have a stim D of 1200 instead of 1170 (for example)

Sigh. One of my hunting partners has amassed a huge collection of Janta blood which she passed on to me as the new med crafter. Pre CU it was worth millions. Now it is scrap.

Janta Blood can still be used in Stim Ds (2 of the same serial number needed). It will increase the strength at least 20 points, and probably increase the number of charges, as compared to post-CU components (although some of the new Janta blood is only 5 charges). Use it with pre-CU ALS and you will get 1350+ Stim Ds. If you pair it with an enhanced liquid suspension you should get 1400+.

You're wrong m8, if you read the description of janta blood it says "...can be used in place of a biological effect controller...." and not "....can be used in place of an advanced biological effect controller...." so I'm not sure at 100% and not tried it before, but I think it can be used also in crafting of stim B and C

I tried. The B and C stim schematics wouldnt recognize the Janta Blood.
